This is a reassuring note on Cancun:

I was sitting in a friend’s car waiting for her in the store and punched on her car radio; it was tuned to NPR and I had tuned in right in the middle of a broadcast on you guessed it; global warming. It was the usual slanted nonsense but had an air of real resignation mentioning how little support Man-Made-Global-Warming has in the electorate.

It wrapped up on a note of how the messaging had gone wrong – but fixes were in place; they reported that WWF had just hired a new head honcho-and executive from Golman Sachs and he had brought on a marketing expert to get the messaging right: a promoter from the World Wrestling Federation.

You can’t make this stuff up.

Global warmers are trying to convince people by saying ministers are part of what they’re doing. Why? Because they don’t have science to convince people.
