I was driving past Colorado Springs in sub-zero (F) weather this evening, and saw a huge array of solar collectors covered with snow and completely useless.
On a more positive note, this was the view in the San Luis Valley today, near the birthplace of the Manassa Mauler.
Upper Colorado snowpack. Looking good so far this year.

We own some acreage in the san luis valley. How exciting. 😛
I suppose if I told you I can’t see any solar collectors in your picture above, you’d just say, “Of course not, they’re covered with snow!”
Too bad that you need so much snow to cover a windmill.
Read the caption (again?). i.e.; different picture.
That picture was taken in the afternoon in southwestern Colorado, not the evening near Colorado Springs
All I see is white drought.
I’ve heard that some snow now is legal in Colorado 1 ounce a person.
It’s not very good weather for windmills either.
