Not normally the gloomy type? Shhya! He's so bright and sunny all of the time.
What do you expect, I mean we’ve got the Worlds Third Largest Cocaine Producer helping out Climate Science http://www.guardian.co.uk/environment/2010/dec/11/cancun-talks-evo-morales
“As a former coca-grower, Morales believes in its positive uses, and has encouraged growth of coca since he began his presidency, seeing it as a way of poor farmers to increase their income. ”
So what happens next, the UN makes him a “Hero of Mother Earth”

We must CUT CO2, It’s causing the COLD THAT’S Destroying the Coca Crops!!!

Has any of you seen this excellent video summarising the global cooling scare of the 1970’s. After watching it you could always pass it along to any warmist you meet or are debating.

Great Video 😛
This one is pretty cool too

Scarlet Pumpernickel are you a time traveller?
Because I gave a link to that video at 11.38 and you replied at 11.42, despite the fact the video was 6 mins long???????
Anyway I guess it will just be one of those sweet mysteries of life.
Another great video is this one which summarises the most ridiculous things blamed on global warming.

Yep I’ve been sent from the future to save you all
S P may be in Australia and is seeing it tomorrow and responding today by using a satellite link that is east of the date line!
Capitalism is evil!!! (but ummm we’ll still take the money when we sell the drugs)

He is wearing a Neru Jacket. Those went out with the Beatles. Next thing we know they will be wearing Leisure suits again!
A trade embargo against those countries seems in order until they irradiate their drug traffickers. Of course it is the end users that are responsible for the drug market. Without buyers there would be no sellers.

Another Ice Age Scientist, well at least this guy is right
The 1970 scare was the result of a cooler, flat sunspot cycle in comparison to the three sunspot cycles before it and the three sunspot cycles that followed.
We are now passing through that data into a colder period due to the fact we are now in a solar minimum.
Was it wise to leave climate science to people who are prone to hysterics?
They invented the fantasy and REAL scientists still do not want to touch it!
Um, doesn’t anyone notice the odd nature of the article dates? The first of the articles exampled here is dated 1923 and calls for new ice age. The first (here anyway) example of heating is 1933- ten years later. The headline of that article (…Temperature Line Records a 25-Year Rise) seems to negate the earlier headline with ice age cometh warning. Then more ice age warning in 1974- 31 years after. Then more heating in 1992- 18 years.
Prior to all this, in the 1800s, they were going back and forth with “scientists” finally in the late 1890s talking about carbon emissions.
It would seem that they keep trotting out the whole damn thing in cycles that depend on education, war and civic involvement. I used to be laughed at in my own damn house by Ivy League grads (my husband included) about being on the short bus when I said climate is cyclical in nature. I mean, where was my fancy science degree? I said then as I do now, I know how to read an almanac and do a history query. I also remember that fable about the little boy crying wolf.
