This paper has nothing to do with global warming, but uses the magic words!
Disrupting the Borg is expensive and time consuming!

that is odd. it seems the text of the article has to do with global warming, and how plants adapt to stressful changes in environment.
Mind set!
Reminds me of the social experiment of if one thinks they can apply electric shock to a person and get away with it, would they? Most do and add on and appear to enjoy it.
Must run for congress one day.
As ice and permafrost melt, previously frozen vegetation rots releasing methane and CO2. That’s well known among climate scientists, it’s one of the feedbacks by which warming releases more GHG which causes more warming, as seen so famously in the Vostok temperature/CO2 reconstructions.
So this paper does say something relevant about global warming, and another Real Science headline is fake.
Everything is due to global warming. Even periods of time in the past when it was much warmer.
Science denial isn’t.
LAZ:
You are here as proof that science denial is alive and well due to the Global Warming Fad.
Steven:
the forests that grew around the Arctic Circle 2 million years ago are the result of the CO2 we are emitting currently as CO2 has the magic property to change the past.
I think the study shows that during the current Ice Age it is natural for the Arctic to be ice free and forests to grow inside the Arctic Circle. It also shows that we are experiencing an abnormal cold period relative to the average global temperatures over the last 30 million years.
Or would it be a warm period relative to the last 1 million years and humans need to adapt to much colder living conditions with glaciers covering large portions on the northern hemisphere land surface. The only reliable inhabitable zone being the current tropics from 30 north to 30 south.
It has the magic “could” word, though.. “Could” is weasel until properly quantified.
That mummified forest has been know about for years. I have a piece of it sitting on my TV.
22 Sep 1986… site 30 years ago on nearby Ellesmere Island. Instead, shallow burial in the Arctic soil has left the forest in a mummified state. …

Oh, yes. Otherwise they would have to be honest and say “I don’t know” instead of trying to use propaganda instead of science to get their money.
