Talk about staying on topic… What does this have to do with climate change? Or science, for that matter?
You have no idea what you are talking about. If you want a blog that was intended to be exclusively science you need to make your own.
The more you talk “Sense” Seeker the more senseless you look.
Ow, Amino, you hurt my feelings. But don’t let me spoil you xenophobic get-together.
Have anything to say about the topic, or are you just going to try smear peoples reputations?
“What does this have to do with climate change?”
What do walking on Muslim eggshells and treading water on the Maldives have in common? They are both politically correct! Remember, political correctness is not about being right; it’s about being left.
Right. And left is bad. We are against everything they are in favor of. I think I get your drift, Sean.
Xenophobic — do you have a private thing going with Amino., or is that the word of the day for you?
Too, do not be in a feverish rush to post, re-read your post to check “you” errors.
It is his blog.
Only leftists post the way you do.Boring and stupidly clueless.
Steven Goddard has never said the blog is only about science or climate. On the contrary.
Sense Seeker doesn’t know what he’s doing. He continually spams.
Sense is only ratty cos the Ozzies are losing again.
If you don’t like the site, why go on it?
Just another troll …..
“Talk about staying on topic… What does this have to do with climate change? Or science, for that matter?”
What has ‘Real Science’ got to to with climate change or science for that matter?
Read the articles.
I do. Apparently it is ‘Real science’ that disproves global warming if some places on the planet have actually cooled a bit. With such evidence I wonder why the AAAS and NAS waste so much time actually publishing research.

No, real science proves global warming when temperatures have not gone up for 15 yrs.
Paul H,
But that is misinformation. Temperatures have gone up in the last 5 years. How could they not have if the last 10 have been the warmest on record?
Or do you mean they haven’t gone with a 95% statically significant level? If so why not state that instead of appearing to misrepresent the data?
Do these Muslims stop to wonder if prayers coming over loudspeakers outside of mosques offends the entire neighborhood where it is located?
In places they are a majority they obviously do not. In places they are not they count on “feel-gooders” to do their work.
The mosque in this area are not in Muslim neighborhood.
where i lived in austria, they consider people from the next valley foreigners. now that’s xenophobia. that judge would have been run out of town.
i don’t buy any of the ‘muslims are our enemy’ crap, but i guess this shows us austrian courts are just as screwed as ours. this guy lives in austria, and doesn’t know what frickin yodling is? does he complain about all the pop and dancehall pieces featuring yodling? anyway,…
Tirol, isch’lei oans!
It’s that politically correct super sensitivity to everyone and brutality to your own culture. Though if the judge had been the one on trial he would wish to be found not guilty I’m sure.
You want to see how judges react when they’re convicted?

You are right that the Muslim fundamentalists gameplan is to alarm enough westerners into retaliation against non-radicalized Muslims. But as a Muslim mate pointed out, for every one going radical ten go down the pub.
Inshallah
There’s usually more to such stories than meets the eye at first glance. I tried to google the story in German and was presented with an avalanche of comments on more or less Facist web sites. Difficult to get reliable reports… But reader comments in the paper that first reported it, indicate that this was systematic harassment over a long period of time, and that the police, not the neighbours, took this to court.
It’s your blog, Steven, but I would encourage you not to pass on stories like this one without any background research.
I wish I could find it as well. But your explanation seems to be plausible. However, that does not change the subject. The man was doing it in his yard, it is not illegal to Yodel (Correct me if I am wrong) in Austria, so how is that harassment?
Alas, I know the answer. WHile many countries claim the freedom of speech, most are not much more free than China – they only pay lip service to it.
My guess from what I read is that the harassment consisted of systematically disturbing the prayers of the neighbor by not only yodeling but also operating a noisy lawnmower. I don”t think this is a question of free speech.
That would be our difference. What I do in my yard – as long as it is during normal hours – is my business, not my neighbors.
I cannot stand the neighbor behind me and his damn leaf blower going at 8 am on a Saturday! But it is his yard and I am not going to call the cops on him (they would probably arrest me for making a stupid call).
That’s not our difference, that’s probably a cultural difference between your culture and Austrian culture (not moslem culture). I’ve lived in Germany, and Germans (and I think Austrians at least at much) highly value their right to peace in garden and house, so neighbors can’t just make any noise they want at any time.
Anyway, we don’t know what really happened, so let’s stop now.
Let’s keep it local….. Now I’ll be called a racist by Sense for posting this..
Rep. Cleaver has proposed a $48 billion earmark
When absurdity gives way to hilarity, you must be talking about politics.
http://www.semissourian.com/story/1687936.html
I read that and was wondering why the proposal for earnarked funds because the country has been doing that since welfare started.
If Sense wants to stay with science, I seem to recall he was asking for evidence of the MWP.
There is plenty to get your teeth into here.
I suggest you spend the next 4 days reading this. It’s certainly better than watching the Ozzies losing again.

Senseless, save yourself some time and trouble. Stick a donkey on your head so you can show everyone you are simply an asses ass.
BTW: The topic is Sharia Law, NOT Hoaxes.

Don’t be an idiot. Apparently you either do not know what science is, or you are simply a sheep bleating what Napoleon told you to.
Now, if you are not a complete sheep, state the null hypothesis, and then the correct methodology to perform proofs.
