A Terrifying Animation Of How Sea Level Rise Could Impact The US

Didn’t hit enough Blue states
I sure wish the east side of Indianapolis were in a low enough area. That’s where the largest part of the bit of blue in the middle of Indiana comes from.
Ha Ha! Liked how Florida dodged the bullet! And Florida is my poster child for sea-level rise catastrophe!
Certainly helps to explain liberal support for global warming. Then again, they’ll always find some reason to seize other people’s money…
That was the ‘gradual’ type of sea level rise.
There is also the ‘Catastrophic Sudden’ type of sea level rise caused by the stubbornness of climate deniers, flat-earthers, tea-partiers and Koch brothers.
We had one of them last tuesday. Almost all of the US was covered in blood ink
He said the Koch brothers ROTFLMAO. A sure sign that someone has no actual argument; when in doubt; toss the Koch brothers out.
Psst. The only people who give a rat about the Koch brothers are your echo chambver liberals. Nobody else knows who the **** they are or care.
Psst. part 2. They are not the only big money people in politics. I am pretty sure your side of the aisle has a couple of Daddy Warbucks priming the pump for your dumb ideas.
Looks more like the next ice sheet advance.
interesting you should says that, I would like to see an animation for a similar drop in temp and watch the usa disappear under ice.
In fact I am sure if you did it for the whole of the planet you would see warming produces more habitable land than cooling and undoubtedly a much more productive planet in terms of bio mass.
But then nobody is interested in reality, just scaremongering.
Fake were you to show the rise expect in 100 years you would see virtually no change, we would pretty much have ran out of fossil fuel by them, the land defrosted would massively out weight land below water (assuming you negligent your sea defences, a laughable scenario).
It is just cheap propaganda which will cost you a fortune.
Of course this is a fake. It’s a joke at the expense of Democrats and a distant dream in the back of conservative minds. Take it for what it is.
Steve, I noticed you left out the middle of California, areas of which are over 200 feet below sea level. In Yuma our favorite scenario is the big one hitting the San Andreas fault. That could very well open up California to the Sea of Cortez starting at El Centro, which is already 32 feet below sea level. The sand dunes west of Yuma really would become beach front property with pristine sand. It could open up a booming tourist industry in Mexico and California, not to mention a thriving seafood industry.
Good times in the face of adversity. LOL.
Yes, this animation was totally geared exclusively for the useful idiots as a visual aid to help the useful innocents graduate to the idiot grade level.
Bring it on. Start the SUV and leave it running.
About 500 feet would suit me.
We could do with a nice bit of coast up here in the Yorkshire Dales, that would make it perfect.
Dade county FL gets left off the hook?
States at 5000 ft elevation under water, while Fla at sea level remains high and dry.
Only in the bizarro world of climate science.
You’ve Big Al’s beachfront property. 🙁
That should be –
You’ve missed Big Al’s beachfront property. 🙁
It’s a biowar projection of the coming Ebola outbreak! O.o
Damn! There goes Disneyland and the Disney Family Museum!
Good thing that it’s only a nightmare…
A whole new meaning to the term, “a sea of red”
