He has refused his Assent to Laws, the most wholesome and necessary for the public good.
He has forbidden his Governors to pass Laws of immediate and pressing importance, unless suspended in their operation till his Assent should be obtained; and when so suspended, he has utterly neglected to attend to them.
He has refused to pass other Laws for the accommodation of large districts of people, unless those people would relinquish the right of Representation in the Legislature, a right inestimable to them and formidable to tyrants only.
He has obstructed the Administration of Justice, by refusing his Assent to Laws for establishing Judiciary powers.
He has made Judges dependent on his Will alone, for the tenure of their offices, and the amount and payment of their salaries.
He has erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harrass our people, and eat out their substance.
He has kept among us, in times of peace, Standing Armies without the Consent of our legislatures.
He has affected to render the Military independent of and superior to the Civil power.
He has combined with others to subject us to a jurisdiction foreign to our constitution, and unacknowledged by our laws; giving his Assent to their Acts of pretended Legislation:
For Quartering large bodies of armed troops among us:
For protecting them, by a mock Trial, from punishment for any Murders which they should commit on the Inhabitants of these States:
For imposing Taxes on us without our Consent:
For depriving us in many cases, of the benefits of Trial by Jury:
For transporting us beyond Seas to be tried for pretended offences
For abolishing the free System of English Laws in a neighbouring Province, establishing therein an Arbitrary government, and enlarging its Boundaries so as to render it at once an example and fit instrument for introducing the same absolute rule into these Colonies:
For taking away our Charters, abolishing our most valuable Laws, and altering fundamentally the Forms of our Governments:
For suspending our own Legislatures, and declaring themselves invested with power to legislate for us in all cases whatsoever.
He has abdicated Government here, by declaring us out of his Protection and waging War against us.
He has plundered our seas, ravaged our Coasts, burnt our towns, and destroyed the lives of our people.
He is at this time transporting large Armies of foreign Mercenaries to compleat the works of death, desolation and tyranny, already begun with circumstances of Cruelty & perfidy scarcely paralleled in the most barbarous ages, and totally unworthy the Head of a civilized nation.
He has excited domestic insurrections amongst us, and has endeavoured to bring on the inhabitants of our frontiers whose known rule of warfare, is an undistinguished destruction of all ages, sexes and conditions.
Disrupting the Borg is expensive and time consuming!

A couple of them don’t sound quite like Obama.
But this one?:
Holy crap… it’s like they knew Saul Alinsky and his disciples were coming.
Yep… meanwhile Progressives always deride alleged “Big Oil” money put out there to further the Skeptic Argument… while ignoring how are Tax Dollars are used to solely PROMOTE Climate Change Propaganda in the form of Grants, Charitable Organizations AND entire Governmental Organizations like the EPA, NASA, NOAA… many others..
3 BILLION allocated to Climate Change.. just think how many propagandists will get paid off this 3 BILLION promised by Obama.. ridiculous..

Sounds like the bitching of some old dead dudes about their boss, lol.
Tyranny is the oldest form of government. Free people began with the American Revolution.
Impeachment now.
Don’t think so.

Noooooo ! Do you want Biden to be president ? You think its bad now ?
Do you prefer malice, or stupidity?
Neither is a good choice but a real impeachment will at least put some fear in the bastards!
Hannibal?
I have wondered when people would start taking notice of the number of grievances outlined in the Declaration of Independence that apply to us once again today. That number continues to grow.
The indictment against the King of England ??
My two cents: sounds like a condemnation of King George III in the lead up to the American Revolution…
It is the text of the Declaration of Independence
I find it both terrifying and (sadly) unsurprising that you needed to state that. Our “educational” system is doing exactly what the Progressives want… it is destroying freedom.
They most certainly are! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yRZZpk_9k8E
Oh, wow…!
Did you forget your “” tag? Surely you knew this was the Declaration of Independence?
He could not have done this without the help of those who came before him. He is just there to finish the job if possible. And if he can’t they’ll put another one in his place.
King George Obama.
HA HA I was just thinking the same thing when on Bloomberg reading about Obozo upset at Keystone coming at him yet again … the twit thinks he is divine and can rule as a sovereign!
In the late 1980’s I was told by my Army chain of command that the Declaration of Independence was subversive and I was wrong to mention it–but the ten planks of the Communist Party platform from the Communist Manifesto was okay–and most of the soldiers agreed.
It’s a wonder that the Berlin Wall fell, but no surprise that Clinton won in 1992.
1.Abolition of property in land and application of all rents of land to public purposes.
2.A heavy progressive or graduated income tax.
3.Abolition of all right of inheritance.
4.Confiscation of the property of all emigrants and rebels.
5.Centralisation of credit in the hands of the State, by means of a national bank with State capital and an exclusive monopoly.
6.Centralisation of the means of communication and transport in the hands of the State.
7.Extension of factories and instruments of production owned by the State; the bringing into cultivation of waste-lands, and the improvement of the soil generally in accordance with a common plan.
8.Equal liability of all to labour. Establishment of industrial armies, especially for agriculture.
9.Combination of agriculture with manufacturing industries; gradual abolition of the distinction between town and country, by a more equitable distribution of the population over the country.
10.Free education for all children in public schools. Abolition of children’s factory labour in its present form and combination of education with industrial production.
Julius Ceasar? So I guess they would be talking about removing a dictator for cause. History has a way of repeating itself, just read Ayn Rand — Atlas Shrugged. She had a front row seat to the Russian revolution and the rise of the Nazi’s. It may seem like she could tell the future, but she was more like a historian than a Nostradamus. She had seen it all before.
+1
Hi Gail. I was wondering if you were doing well. As for Atlas Shrugged, we’re living it.
Where is Galt’s Gulch?
You know there was a lot of what Jefferson wrote in the Declaration that was omitted by the Continental Congress. http://files.libertyfund.org/pll/quotes/284.html
And a major British News Papers mocked it to no end.
And the Loyalists in American had their own answer. http://americainclass.org/sources/makingrevolution/rebellion/text8/hutchinsonrebuttal.pdf
