Romm : Climate Will Become Unliveable – And It Is Obama’s Fault
This entry was posted in Uncategorized. Bookmark the permalink.
When it comes to politics, Obama is not that stupid. He gave lip service to global warming, but did not get into a suicidal fight over it. Like Clinton, he is trying to move more to the center.
or at least he’s going to try and give the illusion of that…….

no one is going to fall for it
This post does show that Joe Romm is viscerally despairing at our inability to curb CO2 etc emissions.
Seen that these are now mostly generated in Asia, his anger is probably mistargeted. However, the source of his concern, the reality that we are performing a major alteration in the only atmosphere we have, is not in dispute. We are only arguing about the scale of the consequences.
What is incomprehensible to me is that the AGW movement has utterly failed to offer any serious proposals for meeting the world’s energy needs, endorsing instead taxpayer funded scams such as wind turbines, which are daily demonstrating their uselessness to the UK public during the current cold snap.
A more constructive approach might be a more forceful pursuit of nuclear power, which at least works, as its weaknesses are well understood and can be managed. Absent some positive direction, the AGW movement seems likely to become increasingly marginalized, as their forecasts to date do not command much credit..
What is incomprehensible to me is that the AGW movement has utterly failed to offer any serious proposals for meeting the world’s energy needs
not to mention they utterly fail to offer any serious proposals for actually addressing the claimed problem
because it has nothing to do with the environment, it is about
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
You are wrong! Watch what is going on in the UK. The world won’t need as much energy if you kill off the young and the old. Doesn’t that qualify as an effective energy policy?
Actually the THEORY (reality) that we are performing a major alteration in the only atmosphere we have, is VERY MUCH (not) in dispute.
The only people still thinking the issue is settled are those whos belief is FAITH based.
The Science does not support the hypothisis.
Be carefull. When Obama says onething, he can move the other way by executive order or supervision. The EPA just announced more stunts and Obama is behind it because he can’t get Congress behind the moves.
Joe needs a laxative and a nap.
Joe Romm, professional idiot (literal meaning)
I think it is important for serious discusion to stay away from calling the Rommulans of the scientific community “crazy”. The last thing we need to give them when we try them for high crimes against humanity, is the option of an insanity plea.
