The King looks like he has been eating well, but I’d rather be in the foxhole with him than the sissy boy on the bike.
Well, since I’m not in the market for dog meat or blowjobs, I guess I can’t take the Kenyan catamite.
I don’t recognise lardy boy on the left….but…Is there an election coming up ? Must be, the only time I see politicians on bicycles is during an election cycle !

He’s King Abdullah II of Jordan , He’s qualified as a Cobra attack helicopter pilot amongst other things . While Obama was trying to justify ISIS’s actions , King Abdullah II was ordering the Jordanian Airforce to blow the snot out of them and He’s even rumored to have led some strikes Himself .
He is a member of the Hashemite family which has ruled Jordan since 1946 and claims to be descendant of the Islamic prophet Muhammad. (Wikipedia)
I’m finding Americans more and more difficult these days….on one hand criticising Britain for having a constitutional monarch……while on the other hand looking up to the constitutional monarch of Jordan.
It makes it hard for us to label you as monarchists 😉
I thought I saw your name on a salami package the other day, but then I noticed it just said “Thick Cut”.
Chris, I don’t think you see Americans criticizing the British monarchy in any significant way. Your imagination is getting the best of you. As for the Jordanian monarchy, we would all prefer to see an informed Jordanian electorate determining their future through democracy. Unlike Saddam though, the Jordanian monarchy is not murdering it’s citizens by the hundreds of thousands to maintain power, and for the middle east, this is a big set forward.
It is a common feature of any discussion with an American about politics….highlighted most recently in comments made on this forum in recent weeks ….that the American view remains ‘at least we’re free and not getting told what to do by a Queen’ (paraphrasing here but you get the jist)
I actually don’t think any of us can say which system serves a nation best unless we live in that nation, hence my lack of ability to identify ‘The King’…..why should anybody really care who he is unless they are one of his subjects.
I struggle to identify our own royal family members because I honestly don’t think of them as being important, apparently though, so I’m told by many Americans many times….they dictate most areas of my life….to which I have to respond with if they do, then I really hadn’t noticed, I’m free to do all the things which I need to do….. 🙂
You won’t see me telling Americans who they should vote for, not least of all because I think that representative voting is dumb and insults everybody’s intelligence….but maybe I will have to make an exception now……you should vote for……….someone who doesn’t need to spend millions on campaigning to get you to vote for them.
Rather than be impressed by the razzmatazz ……speak your mind and tell them none of them make the grade yet, because all Americans seem to agree that all their politicians eventually let them down, just like politicians everywhere else do.
I have a dream too, it is that my children will get to vote directly on policy issues, like the Swiss people can …..and no longer have to play pick-a-puppet
How in the world do you know so many such people? Are they meeting at your place? Did you join one of the support groups for Mensa applicants?
You won’t see me telling Americans who they should vote for… you should vote for someone who doesn’t need to spend millions on campaigning to get you to vote for them.
😆
Just like the birdbrains who interrupt you by saying:
“How in the world do you know so many such people? Are they meeting at your place? Did you join one of the support groups for Mensa applicants?”
Having visited the US many times, for work and holiday….having hosted events in the UK with American attendees….having met Americans in other parts of the world.
Are you one of the Americans who says that America is the best country in the world but who has never left the USA to find out ? Hopefully not….
Oh my. And all these Americans told you ‘at least we’re free and not getting told what to do by a Queen’?
Well, Chris, if you say so, but then you are mixing with a really strange crowd. A cartoon, if you ask me. Such people do exist but I don’t know many. I noticed you have a habit to shoot wildly and over the target. Is it possible it happened to you again?
Young man, I’ve lived more than half of my life outside of the U.S and I am not young. You do these scattershot drive-by posts here but you don’t seem to have read anything I’ve written. That’s a pity—it makes for a more intelligent conversation when people do. But perhaps more importantly, you should re-read the things you have written and try to understand how you are coming across. There is this archetype of a “sophisticated European” and, unfortunately, it is not a caricature.
Aim before you shoot.
Really ?
“Aim before you shoot.”
It was only a matter of weeks since somebody on this forum said the words ‘at least we don’t have to do what our queen tells us’
So yeah, I guess I must mix with some odd folks !
Exactly, aim before you shoot. Read what you wrote. Read what I wrote. Then respond.
I have pointed out that you said:
I said that such people do exist but I don’t know many. I suggested you may have exaggerated.
In your “rebuttal” you argue that “somebody” said it here some weeks ago.
Do you understand now what I mean when I say I noticed you have a habit to shoot wildly and over the target?
Fact is most Americans don’t give a hoot about the Queen. I personally Love the woman. She is, more than any other person left in the world today I believe, the last living example of the UK’s Imperial hay day. A living Vestige of an era. A wonderful and classy person, the last left of the Monarchy during WW II when the Empire stood staunch for a time alone against Hitler. A time when the Royal family would stand with their people and stayed in London during the blitz when many other British families sent their children to the country to save them from the bombing.
I have no problem with the British Monarchy and quite frankly love the pomp and ceremonies associated with it. It is after all living British history. And one thing the Brits have done better than we Americans is retain their history and so they retain the semblance of their Monarchy. They cherish it and maintain the icons that symbolize it. And their example of sacrifice and endurance during WW II is one that should be remembered for all time.
“that the American view remains ‘at least we’re free and not getting told what to do by a Queen’ ”
That’s just funny… what do you think Obama is !!!
“So yeah, I guess I must mix with some odd folks !”
I guess the Americans you would be likely to “hang with” are not going to be the brightest droppings in the woods.
😀 Thanks for a hearty laugh, Andy!
Couple of points ,
1) I`m not American , I’m Australian , part of the Commonwealth , hence a constitutional monarchy
2) I’ll take a constitutional monarchy over a totalitarian terrorist regime like ISIS any day
Amazing how thick some peole can be.
Thick people can still spell the word ‘people’
No, they can’t. The correct spelling is “sheeple.”
That is the best Chris can do, attack my sticky keyboard. Let him have his minor self-deluded victories. At least he self identified correctly. 😆
What does your definition of thick say about you Gator ?
Not that anyone should really care
Guess we must review your ignorance again, since you asked…
Chris the village idiot spews:
stoning to death by christianity, as spelled out in the bible
That is what intelligent people call ‘The Old Testament’, and existed before Christ, you moron.
When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, “Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.”

Come on Chris! Show us your vast knowledge! 😆
Do I need to repeat that you were wrong, again? Yep!
Chris the village idiot spews:
“Islamic Law”…Nobody fears it. It doesn’t actually exist
Why do you feel it necessary to keep proving that you are an idiot? We know already! 😆
To Arabic-speaking people, sharia (/????ri???/;[1] also shari’a, shar??ah; Arabic: ?????? šar??ah, IPA: [?a?ri??a], “legislation”) means the moral code and religious law of a prophetic religion.[2][3][4] The term “sharia” has been largely identified with Islam in English usage.[5]
Sharia (Islamic law) deals with several topics including: crime, politics, and economics, as well as personal matters such as sexual intercourse, hygiene, diet, prayer, everyday etiquette and fasting..
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sharia
Chris, if you chose, we can review all your comments for spelling rather than content. Just let us know which you prefer.
As far as I am aware those processes remain extant 😉
Chris could never be attacked on the content of his posts.
THERE IS NONE !!
Due to me having to spend so much of my time clarifying that I’m not an alarmist….just because I don’t agree with the pathological hatred of the moniker ‘renewable’ and yet agree with the fact that CO2 does not damage the planet, means you won’t get to see much of what you call ‘content’
I suppose I could have started by drawing a few funny cartoons of Obama, copy someone else’s joke about an unfortunate but change the target word to ‘progressive’ in order to have you back slapping me as falsely as with everyone else…….but that doesn’t interest me.
We might not have the same smalltalk but usually agreement on the big issue would be enough……unless you’re talking to a bunch of snobs !

poor Chris,, responds to criticism of his empty posts.. with another empty post. ! DOH !
Better for you to just stfu..
People already you you are an idiot, but why do you want to keep amplifying that fact.!
No, don’t drive him away, Andy. Our camp is a big tent and we want all kinds of villagers to come. And the bigger the tent, the more unusual individuals there.

Morons worry about such typos.
You’re quite right. This error clearly was a typo. However, far too many people make egregious errors of grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
And the obvious irony in the light hearted comment was taken far too seriously ….by the warriors of the new age . 😉 bring it on
Yes the world will end if some uses their instead of they’re or effect instead of affect here.
Don’t get me wrong, in published works I expect proper grammar and usage. But in a conversational forum such as this, not so much, as long as I can understand what is being written.
We all make mistakes and all people with different levels of education should be allowed to express themselves without some grammar or spelling Nazi breathing down their necks.
You don’t like what I write the bloody well don’t read it!
“You don’t like what I write the bloody well don’t read it!”
It’s ‘then’ Rah…not ‘the’
just joking
If you can’t win the debate, attack typo’s. Takes a real man to do that.
Remind me of the debate Andy ? Gator’s point only got as far as saying some people are thick…..

Puppet of zionism/world socialism vs a man who has taken back his nations sovereignty and leads the resistence against them
Israel’s defensive Operation Protective Edge against Hamas rocket fire revealed that it took a military conflict to show that anti-Zionism cannot be decoupled from anti-Semitism. As veteran observers of contemporary anti-Semitism are aware, the rejection of Jewish state sovereignty in Israel (i.e., anti-Zionism) has always been an inherent part of Jew-hatred. In the late 1960s, the Austrian Jewish writer and Auschwitz survivor Jean Amery wrote, “Anti-Zionism contains anti-Semitism like a cloud contains a storm.” To put it mildly, Amery’s definition of modern anti-Semitism wasn’t accepted by post-Holocaust Europe as a force to be combated. Anti-Zionism was deemed by many Europeans to be a politically and socially correct world view. In short, they viewed it as a form of legitimate “Israel criticism.” The calls for the dismantling of Israel and shouts to kill Jews on the streets of London, Paris, Berlin, and Frankfurt, to name some of the major European cities where they’ve occurred, are indicative of a lethal anti-Semitic mass movement. What unifies many European elites, large numbers of Muslims, motley crews of leftists and neo-Nazis is a loathing of the Jewishness of Israel. The 19th-century anti-Semitic German historian Heinrich von Treitschke infamously said, “The Jews are our misfortune.” For the modern anti-Semite that slogan has been transformed into “Israel is our misfortune.” Take a small sample of some of the headlines in the media about what is unfolding in Europe: “Neo Nazis, Islamists Declare ‘You Jews are Beasts’ During Protest of Israeli Operation” in Frankfurt; “Firebombs Fail to Ignite at Toulouse Jewish Center”; “Madrid Jews Vow Legal Action against Author Who Justified Expulsions”; “Jewish Museums in Norway closed for fear of Attacks”; “Well-Known Italian Philosopher: ‘I’d Like to the Shoot Those Bastard Zionists”’ ; Pro-Palestinians Throw Molotov Cocktail at Paris Synagogue; It’s Like 1938, Says Israeli Ambassador to Germany”; “Anti-Semitic Attacks Scar British Cities.” Germany, yes Germany, seems to be one of the main hubs of some of the most intense anti-Semitism. Protesters in Berlin chanted slogans calling for the gassing of Jews. Continental Europe has tolerated enormous amounts of anti-Semitism over the last few decades. Critics correctly point out that there is a market demand for demonstrations of it in Europe. The pressing question remains: Why is there such tolerance for and such a great demand for hatred of Israel? The Israeli psychoanalyst Zvi Rex famously said, with biting sarcasm and irony,” The Germans will never forgive the Jews for Auschwitz.” The line can now be updated to: “Europe will never forgive the Israelis for the Holocaust.” Continental Europe’s complicity in the Shoah helps explain the constant ad nauseam attacks aimed at the Jewish state. Many Europeans seek to cleanse their guilt about the Holocaust. Bashing the Jewish state — and tolerating those who seek to obliterate Israel — creates a catharsis effect. The addition of Islamic-animated anti-Semitism by Muslims in Europe has created a pathologically violent climate for Jews. The European Left has stoked anti-Semitism and somehow believes it is insulated from the disease because the Left is supposed to be free from Jew-hatred. It is worth reading this timely piece in the British Telegraph: “Is the Left Anti-Semitic? Sadly, It Is Heading that Way.” To their credit, European leaders—Chancellor Angela Merkel and French president François Hollande — have issued condemnations of modern anti-Semitism in their countries. But Germany and other European countries showed the disconnect between their official rhetoric and their actions by abstaining during last week’s crucial United Nations Human Rights Council vote. The UNHRC vote singled out Israel for a war-crimes investigation because of its defensive measures against the EU-designated terrorist group Hamas. Commentators deemed the UNHRC measure to be anti-Semitic. Can Europe regenerate itself in terms of human rights and show that its democracies can mature in the 21st century? The litmus test will be how the EU deals with Israel.

Maybe that’s your opinion…that it’s anti-Semitic to oppose anti-Semitism. I suggest you read up on Jewish history and philosophy, rather than simply calling anyone who disagrees with you an anti-Semite. The Jewish Virtual Library is very good source of information on all these topics. And as in a previous post, I recommend studying the roots of modern Political Zionism.
My opinion is that Zionism is anti-Semitism. People do not have the right to murder and rob other people (who happen to be Semites of multiple religions) because they claim racial or religious superiority for themselves. It is Political Zionism (distinct from Cultural Zionism) that entails the establishment of “Jews” as a separate racial/religious entity.
Einstein shared a similar opinion- just substitute “Netanyahu” for “Begin”-
http://users.physics.harvard.edu/~wilson/HUMANRIGHTS/Einstein%20Letter%20Warning%20Of%20Zionist%20Facism%20In%20Israel.html
Further, from Einstein on Politics: His Private Thoughts and Public Stands on Nationalism, Zionism, War, Peace, and the Bomb- Albert Einstein (Author), David E. Rowe (Editor), Robert Schulmann (Editor) :
“I should much rather see reasonable agreement with the Arabs on the basis of living together in peace than the creation of a Jewish state. My awareness of the essential nature of Judaism resists the idea of a Jewish state with borders, an army, and a measure of temporal power, no matter how modest. I am afraid of the inner damage Judaism will sustain—especially from the development of a narrow nationalism within our own ranks, against which we have already had to fight strongly, even without a Jewish state. … If external necessity should after all compel us to assume this burden, let us bear it with tact and patience.”
The conflation of race and religion, or race and culture, or race and politics, or religion and politics, are all recipes for disaster. How about a pluralist, secular state where everyone has equal protection? Unfortunately, the powers behind the west are destroying such states one by one. Because World Socialism, like Political Zionism, is not about liberation, it is simply a tool for power.
Political Zionism is not rooted in reality, it is the product of Ideology. How practical is it, in reality? Does it make Jews any safer, in Israel or anywhere else, or does it endanger them? Do you know or have you spoken with any Olim about their experience?? Have you spent time in Israel or areas under occupation?
Political Zionism is not about religion, the liberation or safety of Jews, in fact it is the opposite. It is about more power for the few, about the Talmudic terror when faced with Jewish liberation. It is a prison for Jews, and a tool for political power. Modern Political Zionism was inspired by assimilation, not persecution.
I am sorry, but it seems obvious to me- Priests and politicians just want your freedom and your money; i.e. power.
power….and control.
I see the two as distinct concepts, power is something which can oblige people to react, control is something which people have to react to because they lack other options. SImilar enough to be the same ? Not sure. But I agree in principle that religion was only created to take control of the masses, to act as an interface between those with enough funds to kill everyone if they wished, and to give them a way to act and behave which the powerful would prefer they adopted.
Perhaps the hated savages were too busy being savage to notice the traps ?

I take it then that you (phodges) think you can love (or at least not hate) Jews, while at the same time wanting to deny Jews the a homeland.
You are beating a dead horse. Israel has existed for the last 67 years and there is nothing you can do or say at this point that will make it go away. It has obviously been a bastion of civilization and freedom in a part of the world plagued by barbarism and totalitarianism. I believe Israel would be willing to live in peace with its neighbors if her neighbors would simply leave them alone.
The homeland……now there’s a concept….described in a book of fiction.
When have you ever known somebody claim rights to land which was only said to have been theirs because a book of mysticism said so, and then get a way with it.
I guess possession isn’t always nine tenths of the law., and then again….how far back should we go to find the real owners of the land……not everybody believes the jews were the first people.
It seems to me that Chris would like to deny the historical evidence that shows Jews had been living there before they had been driven out in the diaspora.
And it seems to me that Neal believes that the first people were jews
“It seems to me that Chris would like to deny the historical evidence that shows Jews had been living there before they had been driven out in the diaspora.”
Neal, do you believe that god made the earth ?
Chris, why don’t you go to Riyadh and sit down on a bench with a bible and see’s what happens. Point being that the Arabs have their traditional homelands associated with their “faith” so why would someone object to the Jews having theirs? The Arabs use their laws to exclude all other faiths from both society at large and in government. the Jews do not.
And yet it is the Jews that you object to having their own land. Why?
I agree with Einstein in theory, but reality trumps theory, every time.
I find it telling that the laughingstock-in-chief is riding a ladies frame bicycle……

No, sorry, effeminate is the wrong word.
I know many females who throw way better than that .!
I need a better descriptor.
