I used to attend the Assembly of God church in Elicott City, Maryland – where they had a massive flood over the weekend. The downtown area is a flood disaster waiting to happen, as you can see in the Google Earth image below .
This marker shows the 1868 flood in Ellicott City, which was much worse at 21.5 feet.
