Space Is Stealing All Of The Earth’s Heat

This graph of outgoing longwave radiation shows that since April of 2009, space aliens have been stealing the Earth’s heat. Now we know where Trenberth’s missing heat is hiding.

Fortunately, we have windmills in Ireland producing almost no electricity to compensate.

  1. Andy Weiss says:

The heat was stolen by SUVs and pickup trucks and the people who drive them who are enemies of the Earth!

I am with you on this one Andy! Just last week I caught my truck stealing warmth from the atmosphere but I made it give it back and placed my truck on restriction, No Ethanol for a month. I blame the Ethanol consumption because the vehicles are becoming inebriated and addicted to the high the get when consuming snorting E10. If the restriction does not work I may have to send my truck to counseling and rehabilitation!

Come on now!!! That only represents a “Small” portion of the Globe!! They left out the most important parts that satellites do not monitor. I am certain if they were to properly “Extrapolate” the regions between 75 and 90 N and S they “Could” potentially reach a Better result. I am sure GISS can teach them how!

  3. suyts says:

lol, they’re sneaking in on the meteorites!!!!!

  4. The heat is not escaping out to space. CO2 is trapping it. There is no ice in the Arctic. The economy is recovering. Obama is brilliant. Cold winters are caused by global warming.

But today the graph in Ireland is above the estimated

of course with such a narrow snapshot by the time you read this it might be lower again. That was a pointless post by Baa Humbug.

    Andy

    • So on calm days we just won’t use electricity. Like when a Siberian cold blast settles in.

    • Baa Humbug says:

Get your facts straight before evoking my name please Andy.

Firstly, I tipped Steve about the OLR chart in response to his post here
      https://stevengoddard.wordpress.com/2011/03/07/coldest-year-ever-uah-march-temperatures-coldest-and-going-down/

As you can see, the March Ts have a lot to do with the amount of energy leaving the system where it matters most, i.e. the tropics. Notice the amount of energy leaving the system, upwards of 260Wm2. The AGW alarm is all about 1-3Wm2,
Natural variations in the system make a mockery of a few Wm2 due to CO2.

Secondly, the wind generation chart had nothing to do with me, take it up with Steve.

Andy, I generally like the challenges your comments bring, but your missing the point. As Steven questioned, “So on calm days we just won’t use electricity.[?]”

I suppose, we could turn back the clock to where refrigeration isn’t considered a necessity. Nor heat. But, then, life expectancy significantly diminishes if we don’t consider these things necessary. Andy, it doesn’t matter if wind produces when it isn’t necessary, in fact, it makes it difficult to manage our power.

Wind adds complexity, with cost, coupled with unreliability.

Other than pumping water, (on a basis not borne of immediate necessity) windmills add to cost in terms of money and life. This would be the reason after several centuries, its never before been implemented as a source of energy. It provides power when it is convenient not when it is needed.

Before you ask, we still cannot store AC power. If and when we can, then and only then will the whirly-gigs and pinwheels be of value.
