As (not) predicted by the climate models, California ski areas are having difficulty staying open because of too much snow. Alpine Meadows has 16-25 feet of snow on the ground.

Current Snow Conditions: Alpine Meadows is closed today, Friday, March 25th, due to avalanche dangers. We are working to have lifts safely running soon and project an open mountain tomorrow.

Why don’t you or one of the posters send that article to the Chronicle and request a retraction or a follow-up report. I think the only way to assure objective reporting is to remind the newspapers and magazines how easy it is to make them look completely ridiculous when they uncritically buy into the AGW hysteria.
