Catlin Team Had To Fight With Thinthick Ice

“Late last night”.
The north pole only has 1 night a year, at 6 months long. And oddly enough, the night had just finished when this was reported!
(Yes I know, they weren’t at exactly the north pole, but I thought it was funny).

lol, yes, the ice cap will soon be gone………lol
Give them credit, they reported the thick ice, which is contrary to their preconceived notions and what the propaganda mill wanted to hear.
It only took 3 days to find a large enough area of flat ice for an extraction mission. they must have been aided by aerial surveillance.
I think the ice was juuust right!
My apologies to the three (polar) bears.
