“DESTRUCTIVE RAINS AT MORETON. BAY.
Something nearly approaching to the long predicted flood of the Brisbane has just commenced in this district. The rain, which, as mentioned in our last, was falling heavily on the evening of yesterday week, continued to pour down in violent torrent throughout the whole of that night and, with slight intermission, next day….We are informed by a person of credit that the Bremer rose 24 or 25 feet.”
