    Polar Bear numbers are increasing where weather patterns have been milder than normal, warmer, than in areas where weather patterns are static or cooler than normal.
    Less ice more bears!
    Maybe it is just easier to count them without ice!

  2. I see ursus bogus is alive and well on a photo-shopped floe. I wonder what they need the ice for? Are they shipping ice sculptures around the globe? I note that the bears eat “only seals”. What are they fed on in zoos, I wonder (I’m a person of great wonderment, as you may have noticed).
