I hadn’t paid much attention to Global Warming until Climategate. I distinctly remember at one point thinking to myself “man, in 20-30 years this whole climate panic thing will be avidly studied by students of psychology and sociology as one of the greatest delusions in human history”.
I mean mass political hysteria over a fraction of a degree per decade change in a virtually meaningless number (GATA)? Wow. Humanity has a long way to go. Ignorance is a much bigger problem than man-made global-warming. Note: the ignorance is quite evident; man-made global warm not so much.
It isn’t just that they’re deluded. It’s a cult. Just like Jonestown. Very similar in many respects, and headed to the same conclusion.
