Wilmington, NC Experiencing Ferocious 23 MPH Winds As Irene Passes
This entry was posted in Uncategorized. Bookmark the permalink.
clearly you are an idiot – those are personal weather stations you are looking at on the Weather Underground and are likely not built to standards needed for accurate measurements. Wilmington, NC was far from the center of the storm the official observation in Wilmington received several hours with wind gusts over 60 MPH. Hatteras, North Carolina had wind gusts to near 90 miles per hour. Jacksonville, North Carolina had a gust of 94 MPH. So thanks for proving that you are an imbecile at Meteorology.
I am in Wilmington. This was NOT a big storm
I looked up four NOAA station near Wilmington. Not one showed hurricane force sustained winds.
