I’m not exactly sure how massively upwards adjusted US temperatures kill children in Africa, but the UN has it figured out.
Contrived I’m sure.
What is real is millions that have died from activists demonizing DDT.
From the article: “Most of the 400,000 annual deaths are “due to hunger and communicable diseases that affect above all children in developing countries,” concludes the study, written by 50 scientists and policy experts from around the world.”
In other words, these people are dying because they are poor. If they were wealthy, a spike in the price of corn would be like it is for us … a minor inconvenience, nothing more.

Yeah they are explaining to him why his numbers are absurd for the same reasons we explained to him over here, except they are giving him the calculations as well. That’s nice of them, although there is little point in bothering… it’s not about the maths it’s about belief for David.
So Earth’s changing climate, or as I would put it, weather kills people.
Not new, and not news.
What kills people is starvation caused by food prices forced up by crazed Green fuel substitution schemes, disease reduction inhibited by crazed Green chemical prejudices and myths, and increased energy prices forced up by crazed Green ‘renewable’ fuel subsidies.
Green Kills especially in cold winter if you can’t afford to pay the high energy price or if the green system breaks down.

Ah yes, this is the notorious study that conflates deaths from air pollution with climate change to ramp up its numbers. One economist has estimated that the report is obviously exaggerated by a factor of 12 and whatever remains is highly debatable. (In reality, it is more probable that overall deaths would be reduced and climate change would be a net positive because cold is a greater killer than warmth.)
However, I did find it interesting to note that many journalists sought a second opinion on the claims made in the study, hence it got torn to shreds and this got reported. (Although I wouldn’t be surprised if the Guardian and the BCC ran the claim with credulity.)

Africans starve.

Considering the world population is 7 billion and considering everyone dies sooner or later, it is not very surprising that 100 million people will die by 2030, no matter what kind of weather there is.
I assume they mean additional deaths… e.g.,
“As global warming intensifies in the coming years, the death toll could rise to 700,000 a year by 2030… but also from the lower productivity of workers when they labor under hotter conditions”
Assuming they are not talking about Alaska, the worst impacts would be in the tropics… except the warming trend for the last 30 years in that region has been, for all practical purposes, so low as to be equivalent to zero.

According to the World Health Organization, indoor air pollution is due to cooking and heating with biomass fuels (agricultural residues, dung, straw, wood) or coal products, and biomass, which is entirely unrelated to fossil fuels, constitutes more than 85 percent of the total.

How many of the leaders of those countries die for the same reason ?
Some leaders have died because of smoke, indeed some have smoked indoors but in the main leaders don’t die for the same reason.
The UN and the World Health Organization hate poor people, and rich people. They hate people in general.
Hate is a word the UN does not like.
Please the UN loves people differently!
