Over the last few years we have seen the global warming movement metamorphise twice. Originally it was global warming” then it changed to “climate change” and now it is “extreme weather.”
The scam is based on convincing people that they are suffering through unprecedented extreme conditions – in their 70 degree year round living room with a 50 inch TV and iPad. The climate used to be perfect, before white men ruined it. If you saw Avatar you know this to be true.
Steven, are there any charts showing the record low high temps?
… and when it becomes apparent to the public that the extreme weather is made up?

Unfortunately this might be a more successful tactic. There are always weather disasters to exploit, and there seems to be some latent aspect of the human psyche that wants to believe that human wickedness is the cause of all human tragedies. Heck, Society persecuted alledged witches for centuries. The modern day alarmists are only 30 years in.
Exactly – the science has failed, but history is easily rewritten for an illiterate citizenry kept hypnotized and subdued by bovine estrogens and Facebook.
Did they ever stop? Somewhere, someone is getting blamed for something they had nothing to do with. Heck, I’m a white, capitalist American male, well past the age of ‘enlightenment.’ I’m the current ‘witch.’
Just the methods of ‘burning’ have become more civilized.

I wonder if Paul Ehrlich is thinking about making a comeback with “The Population Bomb II”? A nation with 4th grade level science and math skills is an easy target for a scaremongering fabulist like Erhlich. He might even get a Nobel Prize now like the scaremongering fabulist Al Gore.
He has jumped on the bandwagon but I’m not sure he will be able to offer The Cause much benefit.

Big Green makes Big Oil look like a spec of sand in a desert.
At least with Big Oil it delivered what it promised on the tin / barrel, cheap reliable energy, the foundation of modern day prosperity.
On the other hand Big Green is creating global slavery, extracting huge government legislated payments from what can only be described as faux energy scams.
Big Green are the perpetual energy scammers of this century, the only difference being is the population at large are forced to pay for the scams through forced government subsidies and the forced trading of particulates of fresh air. Blatant green energy scams.
Big Green is turning us all into economic slaves. Some say Big Green is a religion but it’s much more than that, because it is the first religion where the worlds population is forced to believe, forced to pay at the plate, forced to participate in the promise for what – absolutely nothing.
Big Green is money for nothing.
Weight for weight (battery/oil) you get 1/10 of the energy for three times the price.
That’s Green economics.

On the quasi-government media station yesterday the news reader reported that it was windy somewhere locally and that it was really hot somewhere else. (At the time we were 2 days from the official start of summer.) He described these events as “extreme weather.”
