Only 100 Degrees Of Warming Needed To Melt Down Antarctica

Weather Forecast Vostok, Antarctica | Vostok Weather | Wunderground

Over the past 16 years, global temperatures have been rising at 0.00 degrees per century.

I asked my spreadsheet how long it takes to reach 100 degrees warming at a rate of  0.00 degrees per century.

Don’t underestimate the power of CO2 to conceal all the energy it’s been trapping until a tipping point is reached. Trenberth says its stealthily hiding at the bottom of the ocean where its really cold so not to be detected.

    • miked1947 says:

The heat camoflaged itself as cold so we can not see it until it is ready to strike! Then you will be sorry you doubted the power of the heat hiding under the cold water! 😉 😉

      • miked1947 says:

See this site for more information about the camo the heat is using:

        Mike,

Only the heat caused by anthropogenic CO2 has these amazing super powers. It took many years of extensive training, sponsered by the Koch Brothers, to get those molecules to be so darned clever. Fortunately for the planet, there exists incredible intellects like Trenberth, Hansen, and Mann to save us all.

That has t be the answer!
I am so glad we have those “Super Heroes” to save us! 🙂

      • Glacierman says:

I know it sounds hard to believe, but without Trenberth we wouldn’t know that all that heat is in the deep ocean hiding as cold water. Without Hansen we wouldn’t know that Chinese Aerosols have saved us from boiling. Without Mann how would we know that the climate was stable before the industrial revolution? Also, Mann has helped us understand that some sediment gives the wrong signal because a vast right-wing conspiracy has been in play for hundreds of years to confuse the issue, so thankfully he just inverted them to give the right answer. Without Katherine Hayhoe we wouldn’t understand that when it rains, or doesn’t rain in Texas, it isn’t weather, it is actually a symptom of a planet made weird by those dastardly CO2 molecules.

        Climate Heros unite!

That inverted series represented thousands of years.
Without their fairy tales the world could have been trying to solve real problems rather than chasing illusions for the past 30 some years. You left out Susan Soloman and all her contributions.

Not so. It’s hiding on the dark side of the moon and will move to earth soon if we don’t remove all carbon from the atmosphere, including those organic meat sacks in the bottom 6 feet!

Check out ice thickness here much thicker in 2013 than 1989.

instead of dividing by zero, try dividing by James Hansen’s IQ. That will explain why the West Side Highway in Manhattan is already under water.

I found this “Hiding in the pipeline” to take care of the ice in the Arctic:

    • Andy Oz says:

They are impressive bits of gear. Year round access to arctic shipping. Strange investment though, when Appell et al say the ice will be gone this year.

      • miked1947 says:

These will take care of the ice in the Arctic Ocean! Unlike other countries, those Russians are planning for real weather!

The missing heat is holidaying in my home state according to CSIRO. And it’s cooking the fish. Small correction to the story: the fish in the picture is an Australian Giant Mullet, not Herring, and they are terrible eating. W.A. Herring are small and quite tasty.
A larger correction would be the CSIRO theory about marine heatwaves becoming increasingly common is flawed.

Just watched Brian Williams tell me how bad it is in the Antarctic. He is claiming the temperature has risen 10 degrees. Not sure if C or F. News to me. Penguins dying everywhere I see only cooling in Antarctical (except on the peninsula).

    Who is Brian listening to?

  7. tckev says:

Steve you need to upgrade your software to the all new MannSoft® SpreadsheitAround© to do the MannMath®. It makes divide by zero easy, and the all new Hansenizer™ add-in means you can draw the plot before generating the data (just like the professionals).

“MannSoft, because you always know what you’re going to get.”
