Still The Coldest Spring In US History

Almost half way through May, 2013 is still the coldest meteorological spring in US history. This year may finish spring warmer than 1917, but that is yet to be seen. Last year was the warmest spring in US history, with 1910 being the second warmest.

There has been no trend in springtime temperatures in the US since at least 1895.

Here in Toronto they are calling for rain & snow showers with a wind chill of -2 C. this evening and into tomorrow.

I agree with this assessment. I live in Atlanta, GA and have run heat for the first time in May since moving there in 1967. I ran heat many times in April and I think that was the first also for needing to run heat. Usually we need air-conditioners in May.

Last year I believe we were at the peak of a natural cycle, what ever it was, and starting this year things will get colder.

The unusual characteristics of SS-24 took everyone by surprise.
With climatologists now looking at upper atmosphere criegee intermediates and various cloud seeding particulate matter, they’ve already quietly shown that the inputs used in their models suck terribly. Their ignorance will never be broadcast, but it should be!

…and the summer of 2012 was the 3rd hottest on record for the United States? The hottest was 2011, the 4th was 2006 and the 5th was 2011. The winter of 2011 – 2012 was the 4th warmest winter on record, behind 2000, 1999, and 1992. Winter temperatures have increased by abot 1.7°F per century
