Shocking Imagery Of The Fort Collins Permanent Drought

To highlight the horrific drought which the US Drought Monitor says we are having, I am revealing a horrifying picture I took this afternoon riding my bike to the Whole Foods Market in Fort Collins.

Shortly after taking this picture, I had to take a diversion because the bike trail was flooded.

    So you have trails that are not just the shoulder of the highway? Very nice if you have that kind of scenery all along the route. We have some here, but they don’t lead to significant destinations.

    Please send some of your weather our way, as just 100 or so miles east of you we are in a world of hurt for rain. We are down about 14 inches of our normal precipitation since Jan 1, 2012.
