If they have an ounce of brains, they will get out of there immediately.
Disrupting the Borg is expensive and time consuming!

If they had an ounce of brains they wouldn’t be there.
Too late. Get Vladimir Putin on the phone. A big Russki icebreaker is required post haste. He’ll do it as long as he gets 51% of the new $1.4 billion wind project in Ireland. Everyone has their price. Even PR firms.
Moving again. Update an an hour ago.
They finally reported a couple of hours ago, and they have made a bit more progress.
Dear Reggie,
Your beloved AGW whores are about to be heavily beaten and you should warn them that the beating they’ll take will be quite severe unless they come to their senses and rethink their moronic adventure destined for ridicule and absolute failure.
A spectacular spanking is good for the audience, but it may have terrible effects on their egos, which could last a lifetime!
Saw the video link where they pull the boat walking in the water. The boat seems very unstable, is it even seaworthy? I am very concerned. Ten meters from shore seems to be a proper distance for that vessel. They should abort the mission before something bad happens.
GregM – Good observation! Extremely unstable… look at what they call a CAPSIZE TEST…lol Note how the lift straps pulls the rowboat around so it turns rightside up… this rowboat would of stalled inverted had it notbeen helped… or in other words it FAILED THE CAPSIZE TEST… but what you expect – designed and built by a local KAYAK shop man… no rowing experience and for sure no professional credential as a naval architect…. take a look: http://vimeo.com/65757435
When they say they have ADVISORS I wonder how anyone named CAPTAIN ALLEN DOMAAS could of sat by and allowed this craft to be used – definitely legal liability exists.
I agree, it completely failed the capsize test. This is what’s supposed to happen. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qB88rio2oe4
I know nothing of ‘capsize testing’ but I did notice that the boat was rolled empty, without any crew members inside; I can’t make any assumptions about what gear was stowed or not. The boat at best could be said to have righted itself very slowly.
What happens if put 700 pounds of crew members inside lying against the cabin ceiling while the boat is upside down? Would it right itself?
A stable rowing boat, as I thought everyone knew, has to be flat and wide with a low center of gravity. That one has nothing of that.
It´s also obvious why they have problem with the wind. A lot of material is far up from surface. Catches a lot of wind and makes the boat unstable. That boat is suitable for a swimming pool. Indoors.
