Cold week in Australia with freezing temps deep into the interior.

  2. Jorge says:

If what’s happening in the southern hemisphere is any indication, it appears that this year will be another cold winter. It might be even colder than this past winter. The press flip out every time it’s hot outside, but then completely ignore the cold. This is how the knuckleheads convince themselves that it’s getting warmer when it isn’t.

  3. Streetcred says:

The ski industry in Australia has never been more than a marginal business … the high country is too low for guaranteed good snow falls each year. We take the ~8-weeks that we get and are happy for it. Besides, Canberra, our seat of Federal Government, is only a couple of hours drive from our premier ski terrain and all of that hot air emanating from the socialist politicians cause rain rather than snow.

  4. Fred from Canuckistan says:

Too bad the Aussies drank the Greenie Kool Aide and wasted $$$$Billions building desalination plants to handle the drought conditions the Eco Hystics forecast was the new normal.

And those people who died a few years back when they refused to operate the Wivenhoe dam and resevoir as it was designed to be operated . . Ya too bad.

    Just Greenie collateral damage.

  5. ozspeaksup says:

snowed in Vic Grampians as well as the vic mountains, was damned cold everywhere else too.
SA was on snow warnings for adelaide hills and other high spots, dunno if? what they got.
