Debate about global warming

It is refreshing to see the Union-Tribune support the scientific assertion that global warming is real and caused by human beings (“World must act on global warming,” Editorial, Nov. 28). Every day, we hear about the dangerous impacts of higher temperatures. Food shortages, drought, extinction of species and flooding of inhabited coastlines around the world are part of our future unless we act soon. Will we adapt to climate change or prevent its acceleration? The choice is ours, and future generations are depending on each one of us to speak out.

Heh, I’m wondering why it doesn’t occur to these people that they hold themselves up for ridicule when they write gibberish such as this. She also forgot to include “floods” right after “droughts”.
