I’ve been to Qatar in the summer am stunned that they’re going to have the World Cup there. The heat is absolutely unbearable anytime you’re outside. How did this happen? FIFA is a joke.
Qatar has a lot of money and the FIFA execs will probably be living well the rest of their lives.
And by 2018 global warming will have started so Russia will be nearly as hot.
They will wish they had gone to Greenland.

i may go to brazil for the next one. probably not go to any games, but just to be there.
brazil may actually get to play some real brazilian ball, as the officials would only allow the hockey style play against them at the risk of their lives.
Russia is ranked 154 out of 178 countries in the Transparency International Corruption Perception index (1 = cleanest, 178 = most corrupt). FIFA’s committee decided that in spite of a poor technical report Russia was the best venue for the 2018 World Cup. I wonder where the FIFA committee would place on the TI index if it were a country.
