Professional climate fraudsters claim that Greenland is losing ice 600% faster than predicted.
As of yesterday, the Danish Meteorological Institute (DMI) showed Greenland surface mass gain for the winter at a record high. This is a direct contradiction to the lies being spread by climate alarmists.
The DMI data was being widely cited by skeptics as evidence against global warming fraud, so today DMI changed the graph. They changed their baseline dates, and no longer show 2017 as being a record high.
We have seen this identical story hundreds of times. Climate data being altered to avoid criticism from global warming alarmists. Apparently DMI doesn’t want to have gunfire directed at their office, like John Christy and Roy Spencer had after Bill Nye’s “March for Junk Science.”
Climate alarmists are Brownshirt thugs. They don’t represent science. They represent the darkest side of human evil.
The Senator Joe McCarthy hearings were going on during those hurricane strikes. Senator McCarthy was universally despised by Democrats because they felt he was prosecuting people based on their beliefs.
Democratic Senator Whitehouse of Rhode Island was born in 1955, one year after the McCarthy hearings, and one year after the last major hurricane hit New England. He wants climate skeptics prosecuted for their belief that hurricanes are not getting worse.
The difference between Senator McCarthy and Senator Whitehouse, is that McCarthy actually had some evidence to back his claims. Senator Whitehouse has no evidence, and simply wants to destroy the First Amendment.
After the PDO shift in 1976, Los Alamos, New Mexico suffered a series of large fires, beginning with the Bandelier Fire of 1977. I originally blamed the change in climate on Jimmy Carter, but that may have been unfair.
The most recent fire was in 2011, which removed the last of the overgrown forest, caused by decades of Smokey the Bear fire suppression. I rode my bike up to the burn area yesterday, and took some pictures of the recovery of the forest. The burn area is rapidly filling in with Aspen, Oak, Currants, Chokecherry, Maple, and other species. There were three Red Tailed Hawks circling right over me and screeching, which was pretty amazing.
During the 1890’s, Northern New Mexico was hit with a similar series of massive fires. The burn areas from those fires now form some of the largest and most spectacular Aspen groves anywhere. The world’s tallest Aspen trees are outside Santa Fe, where I used to work as a wilderness ranger.
I attended the annual ceremony for Los Alamos Living Treasures yesterday, an organization founded by my mother – who passed away in December. It was a very large event, and besides the parts dedicated to my mom, there were three new inductees, including a scientist (Chick Keller) who has dedicated his life to “global warming.” Chick’s house burned up in the 2011 fire and he believes that natural cycles are man made, because he trusts fake climate data from NOAA and hasn’t looked back far enough in history to see that it has all happened before. Here are some of the ridiculous arguments Chick has told me in the past.
I have already discussed the 1900-1945 rise. After WWII rapid and massive industrialization with no pollution controls lead to global dimming in which sulfate aerosols reflected much sunlight back into space. The resultant cooling reversed as developed nations cleaned up their atmosphere. Global dimming has been observed to reverse starting about 10 years ago which is presumably leading to our seeing the real power of anthropogenic greenhouse gases to warm the earth.
What a load of BS. China is making massive amounts of pollution. And NASA has since erased the post 1945 cooling anyway.

The IPCC was created and exists entirely to produce evidence of CO2 driven climate change. They have no other purpose.

There is no question that humans are producing most or all of the observed warming. Their names are Gavin Schmidt, Tom Karl, and few others who tamper with data, to create fake graphs showing warming.
During the very hot summer of 1988, NASA’s James Hansen testified before Congress and told them that there would be a big increase in the frequency of heatwaves in the US by the 1990’s.
The exact opposite has occurred, as 1988 was the last summer when a lot of daily temperature records were set or tied.
The frequency of hot days has declined sharply in the US since the 1930’s, and 1988 was the last year when more than one day out of eight was over 90 degrees.
Hansen also predicted a 600% increase in the likelihood of drought relative to the 1950’s.
Once again, the exact opposite has occurred. Prior to 1960, the US was in drought 50% of the time. Since 1960, the US has been in drought only 33% of the time.
Hansen and his fellow clown Kerry Emanuel from MIT predicted a big increase in the strength of hurricanes, with 225 MPH winds.
Once again, the exact opposite has occurred. The frequency of US major hurricane strikes has plummeted from a peak in the 1940’s to a record low at the present.
Besides all the junk science surrounding Hansen’s 1988 testimony, Hansen and Senator Tim Wirth from Colorado picked the hottest day of the summer, and then sabotaged the air conditioning in the Congressional hearing room.
we called the Weather Bureau and found out what historically was the hottest day of the summer. Well, it was June 6 or June 9 or whatever it was, so we scheduled the hearing that day, and bingo: It was the hottest day on record in Washington, or close to it. It was stiflingly hot that summer. [At] the same time you had this drought all across the country, so the linkage between the Hansen hearing and the drought became very intense.
… What we did it was went in the night before and opened all the windows, I will admit, right? So that the air conditioning wasn’t working inside the room and so when the, when the hearing occurred there was not only bliss, which is television cameras in double figures, but it was really hot. … So Hansen’s giving this testimony, you’ve got these television cameras back there heating up the room, and the air conditioning in the room didn’t appear to work. So it was sort of a perfect collection of events that happened that day, with the wonderful Jim Hansen, who was wiping his brow at the witness table and giving this remarkable testimony.
The people behind the global warming scam are crooks. They have been proven wrong over and over again, and instead of admitting they were wrong, they simply alter the data to make it look like they were correct.

Bill Nye says that 70 degree temperatures in February prove global warming, and anyone who doesn’t accept that is suffering from cognitive dissonance.
According to Bill Nye, the answer is simple: cognitive dissonance.
“People have a certain worldview; [then] they’re confronted with evidence that conflicts with the worldview, so they have dissonance, conflict in their minds,” Nye says. “[So] instead of changing your worldview, which you may have held your entire life, you dismiss the evidence—and along with that you dismiss the authorities that may have provided the evidence.”
Had Bill ever actually looked at the data, he would have known that the frequency of February 70 degree days has actually declined since 1920. The warmest February was 1976, which came immediately before the three coldest winters on record in the US.

The warmest February temperature on record in the US, was 104 degrees at Rio Grande City, Texas on February 26, 1902. The average warmest February temperature at all 1,218 USHCN stations is 78 degrees.
It is painfully obvious that Bill is unfamiliar with both the data and the authorities he claims to represent. He is a junk science guy, and because of his influence on trusting children, his disinformation campaign is a threat to both science and civil society. He is a modern day Goebbels.
