I took both of these time lapse videos this evening.
Hideous windmill outside Boulder, generating no electricity for ten minutes.
Beautiful clean coal power, reliably powering a city of 100,000 progressives 24 x 7 x 365 with low cost energy.
Boulder has apparently committed to having no electricity most of the time.

This seems to be their plan for the city.
Rhode Island’s Senator Whitehouse believes there is a massive Koch Brothers funded conspiracy of people who want to destroy the climate – and all life on Earth. He also believes he can prevent this by prosecuting anyone who doesn’t share his paranoid psychotic belief system.
If Senator Whitehouse is successful, he should be able to restore the mild Rhode Island climate of 1815.
Or perhaps 1938.
Gavin Schmidt at NASA is 99% certain that 2016 is the hottest year ever. The animation below flashes between the list of stations which reached 110 degrees this summer, and the same list from 80 years ago, when the climate was very cold according to Gavin.
Don’t take my word for it though. The EPA heatwave graph is very similar to the one I generated. Their graph isn’t quite right, but pretty darn close for government work.
