Real Climate Science

Nothing about climate science reeks more of confirmation bias, than the changes scientists make to their own data sets over time. They all show exactly the same pattern of monotonically cooling the past and warming the present, regardless of the instrumentation.

In the case of US temperature adjustments, they are made to exactly match the increase in CO2. Junk science doesn’t get any worse than that.

In 1988, NASA’s top climate expert told Congress that the Midwest will face frequent episodes of very high temperatures and drought in the coming decades.

In fact, the exact opposite has occurred. The frequency of hot days has plummeted since 1988 in the midwest, and is down 80% since the 1930’s.

The Midwest has been getting progressively wetter, with almost no drought since Hansen made his forecast.

James Hansen is considered the world’s top climate scientist, and has no idea what he is talking about. It only gets worse as you go down the ladder.

Satellites show very little net warming since 1990, but the current El Nino spike is being touted as proof that we need global communism to stop climate change.

There was a very similar spike in February 1998. Compare the February, 1998 and 2016 images below.

By December, 1998 the planet had gone cold. If that happens again this year, weather will become weather once again, and not climate..

The percentage of days reaching 100 degrees in the US is down 50% since the 1930’s.

Similarly, the average temperature has declined, and is now about 0.5C cooler than the 1930’s.

The 1995 IPCC Report showed no warming from 1958 to 1995, from radiosonde or satellites.

Marco Rubio’s American Future Fund is spending huge amounts of money running ads from two former Trump University students, Kevin Scott and Bob Guillo, alleging they were scammed and the program was a fraud.

In their “hottest year ever” press briefing, NOAA included this graph, which stated that they have a 58 year long radiosonde temperature record. But they only showed the last 37 years in the graph.

Here is why they are hiding the rest of the data. The earlier data showed as much pre-1979 cooling as the post-1979 warming.

I combined the two graphs at the same scale below, and put a horizontal red reference line in, which shows that the earth’s atmosphere has not warmed at all since the late 1950’s

The omission of this data from the NOAA report, is just their latest attempt to defraud the public. NOAA’s best data shows no warming for 60 years. But it gets worse. The graph in the NOAA report shows about 0.5C warming from 1979 to 2010, but their original published data shows little warming during that period.

Due to Urban Heat Island Effects, the NOAA surface data shows nearly one degree warming from 1979 to 2010, but their original radiosonde data showed little warming during that time. Global warming theory is based on troposphere warming, which is why the radiosonde data should be used by modelers – instead of the UHI contaminated surface data.

NOAA’s original published radiosonde data showed little net troposphere warming from 1958 to 2010, when the data set ended.

The next graph shows how NOAA has altered their 850-300 mb temperature data since 2011. Another hockey stick of data tampering.

Apparently the Minnesota GOP knew the results of the March 1 caucus – in February. Someone noticed this item on the Minnesota GOP web site :

There are two problems with this file.

The file was uploaded into the WordPress February, 2016 directory (2016/02).  Wordpress makes this choice automatically – the user has no control over it.

For example, I uploaded image below yesterday.

Note that the URL is 2016/03 – i.e. March 2016.

There is another problem. Note the name of the file :

Election results are not “operations” – and the Minnesota election has nothing to do with Malaya or water.  The name is nonsensical and no one would think up a name that stupid. MWM much more likely stands for “Marco Wins Minnesota”

Minnesota is a strange state politically. They were the only state which didn’t vote for Reagan in 1984.

Minnesota also once elected a pro wrestler (Jesse Ventura) governor.

Megyn Kelley claimed that Trump University was rated a D- by the Better Business Bureau, and defrauded 5,000 people. As is normally the case with journalists, she wildly misrepresented the facts.

The first web archive capture in 2012 was rated C+. They had 19 customer complaints and resolved all but two.
