Experts say that ice is rapidly disappearing on the Great Lakes due to global warming, and will soon disappear forever.
Lake Superior has increased water temperatures and an earlier onset of summer stratification by about two weeks in just the past 30 years. Within another 30 years Lake Superior may be mostly ice-free in a typical winter.

Today’s imagery is truly frightening.
.Fifteen years ago, government scientists were unhappy that the US was cooling and wrecking their theory, so they simply altered the data in a series of steps – to turn cooling into warming.
in the U.S. there has been little temperature change in the past 50 years, the time of rapidly increasing greenhouse gases — in fact, there was a slight cooling throughout much of the country
our analysis (Hansen et al., 1999a), …. makes clear that climate trends have been fundamentally different in the U.S. than in the world as a whole

Fifty years ago, there was unanimous consensus that the planet was getting colder.
This cooling didn’t suit the political agenda of the White House, so NASA simply made it disappear.
45 years ago, scientists wanted to ban fossil fuels to prevent a new ice age and flooding of coastal cities.
The usual criminals in the press corps are claiming that Arctic ice is rapidly disappearing, and at a record low extent.
Satellite imagery shows that there is a lot more ice and snow than there was in 2006. (Note that the eye altitude has changed since 2006, but I aligned the land edges as closely as possible.)
2006 was the year with the highest summer minimum from the past decade, and ice levels are well above 2006.
The press has manged to spin a decadal increase in ice extent into a “record low.” This is how journalists working for the $29 billion climate mafia operate. Arctic sea ice has been stable for three years, and there is no trend over the past decade.
Nine years ago, The New York Times announced that your SUV brought endless summer to Long Island, and was killing Polar Bears
gardens alone can’t save the polar bears, or all the other species that could vanish. Only a radical reduction in the burning of fossil fuels can do that.
With Warmer Weather, Different Decisions to Make – New York Times
The past three months have obliterated all records for cold in the Northeast
And there is more sea ice than there was in 2006
The New York Times was 100% wrong on all counts, and they predictably responded by censoring all heretics to their religion.

The White House on Tuesday rebuked Republican critics of its contribution to the United Nations climate pact, saying the criticisms are “hard to take seriously.”
Asked about congressional Republicans who want the Senate to have to approve an agreement, White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest said that politicians who are skeptical of the science surrounding climate change are not qualified to judge the matter.
“These are individuals who — many of whom, at least, deny the fact that climate change even exists, so I’m not sure they would be in the best position to decide whether or not a climate- change agreement is one that is worth entering into,” Earnest told reporters Tuesday.

On April Fools day, there are still people who deny that we are watching a coup d’etat unfolding right under our noses.
