Real Climate Science

One problem which climate experts suffer from, is poor messaging. I’m happy to offer my services to improve their ability to reach the public.

My $0.00 in big oil/tobacco/Koch funding was recently cut off, so I am actively seeking my cut of the $29 billion/year in government climate scam money. Others are getting more than their fair share, and we all believe in redistribution of wealth now.

While doing research 12 or 13 years ago, I met Jim Hansen, the scientist who in 1988 predicted the greenhouse effect before Congress. I went over to the window with him and looked out on Broadway in New York City and said, “If what you’re saying about the greenhouse effect is true, is anything going to look different down there in 20 years?” He looked for a while and was quiet and didn’t say anything for a couple seconds. Then he said, “Well, there will be more traffic.” I, of course, didn’t think he heard the question right. Then he explained, “The West Side Highway [which runs along the Hudson River] will be under water. And there will be tape across the windows across the street because of high winds. And the same birds won’t be there. The trees in the median strip will change.” Then he said, “There will be more police cars.” Why? “Well, you know what happens to crime when the heat goes up.”

And so far, over the last 10 years, we’ve had 10 of the hottest years on record.

Didn’t he also say that restaurants would have signs in their windows that read, “Water by request only.”

Under the greenhouse effect, extreme weather increases. Depending on where you are in terms of the hydrological cycle, you get more of whatever you’re prone to get. New York can get droughts, the droughts can get more severe and you’ll have signs in restaurants saying “Water by request only.”

When did he say this will happen?

Within 20 or 30 years. And remember we had this conversation in 1988 or 1989.

Does he still believe these things?

Yes, he still believes everything. I talked to him a few months ago and he said he wouldn’t change anything that he said then.

The fateful year has arrived, so I have plotted my projection for the final death spiral – which will lead to an ice-free Arctic on July 9, 2015 at approximately 6:23 am.

The last really hot summer in the US was 1988, the summer when Hansen sabotaged the air conditioner at the US Capitol Building – so that he could scare Americans into believing they were about to overheat.

Believe it or not, we called the Weather Bureau and found out what historically was the hottest day of the summer.

What we did it was went in the night before and opened all the windows, I will admit, right? So that the air conditioning wasn’t working inside the room and so when the, when the hearing occurred there was not only bliss, which is television cameras in double figures, but it was really hot. …  So Hansen’s giving this testimony, you’ve got these television cameras back there heating up the room, and the air conditioning in the room didn’t appear to work. So it was sort of a perfect collection of events that happened that day, with the wonderful Jim Hansen, who was wiping his brow at the witness table and giving this remarkable testimony. …

This past summer (2014) was by at least one metric the coolest on record in the US. Climate alarmists worship Hansen – for sticking to his guns no matter how incompetent his science is.

In 1986, Hansen said the US had warmed 1-2 degrees since 1958, and would warm 4-6 degrees by 2020.

But in 1999, he said there had been no US warming since 1958

in the U.S. there has been little temperature change in the past 50 years, the time of rapidly increasing greenhouse gases — in fact, there was a slight cooling throughout much of the country (Figure 2).

Hansen is a progressive hero, because he just makes numbers up as he goes along – to suit their agenda.

In Obama’s Orwellian world, up is down, an essential component of life is pollution, and illegal executive actions which trash the Constitution are for the good of the American people.

California is the globe.

Obviously whatever California is trying to do is not working for them. Being a total failure and shooting themselves in the foot in the process, makes them a leader in the eyes of progressives.

Next winter, when El Nino is flooding California, the geniuses at the Guardian will no doubt blame the floods on global warming too.

It would be difficult to pack this much stupid into one paragraph, but Fox News has succeeded.

1. Obama is not the US.
2. The president can not enter a treaty without the advice and consent of the Senate, and  a two thirds majority.
3. The photograph is H2O, not CO2
4. Obama’s attempt to cripple the US economy will have little or no impact on CO2 emissions. China will generate 4X as much CO2 as the US in 15 years.
5. Obama’s attempt to cripple the US economy will have little or no impact on climate.

Fox News is supposed to be the “conservative” news station? What  a farce.
