McCain would have no reason to talk about Obama’s Christian faith, and Obama would have no reason to bring the subject up.

The airport at Canberra shows 1.3C/century warming since 1955, while the airport at Broome shows no warming during the same period.

The Broome thermometer is a well sited thermometer, far away from any asphalt.

By contrast, the Canberra thermometer is located next to a huge mass of asphalt and concrete. Experts at the BOM say that the warming is due to 0.0001 mole fraction CO2 added to the atmosphere over the past 100 years.

The percentage of 90 degree days in the US is plummeting, and has been near record lows the past two summers.

But it worse than it seems. The coolest summer was 1992 – which was caused by particulates blocking the sun after the eruption of Mt. Pinatubo.

Had satellites gone up in the 1930s, instead of the late 1970s, we would still be doing the global cooling scam, rather than the global warming scam.

Peter Wadhams, professor of ocean physics at Cambridge University, said that the ice cap has now melted so much that open water is now just 350 miles form the North Pole.  This is the shortest distance ever recorded.  He added: “The Arctic ice cap is in a death spiral.”

There was a notch in the ice (blue circle above) caused by persistent winds in a narrow region. It nothing to do with the overall state of the ice.  Incredibly slimy to mislead readers like that.

His findings coincide with satellite observations from the US National Snow and Ice Data Centre (NSIDC) released last week.  The figures revealed that the Arctic cap lost a staggering 11,100 square miles of ice per day in the first half of September – for comparison Wales measures just 8,100 square miles.

Ice loss in the first half of September was just about normal. Quoting numbers out of context with intent to mislead, is just about what we expect from these people.

Science integrity is in a death spiral.

It must be global warming.

All good citizens should have spent the day worrying about an essential trace gas, or a virus which has affected two people in America.

I spent the day cycling in the forest, watching football, baseball and the other game mysteriously called football, attended a chamber music concert at the Christ Episcopal Church, walked the dogs, drank Guinness at the pub, and am headed out for another walk in the forest and later off to the gym.

Forgive me brother Al, for enjoying life and not contributing to your wildly corrupt money making scam.

Satellite data shows that the Earth hasn’t warmed much since they were launched in the late 1970s. But it is even “less worse” than that. Besides the fact that the start date of 1979 was one of the coldest years on record in the Northern Hemisphere, two volcanic eruptions on the left half of the temperature graph greatly exaggerate the trend, by artificially cooling the past.

The animation below removes those volcanic years except for 1983 – which I very conservatively adjusted upwards for the super El-Nino which occurred that year, but was masked by dust from El Chichon. As you can see, a realistic evaluation of temperature data shows that there has only been a tiny amount of warming since the very cold year of 1979

As an extra bonus, in 1975 the National Academy of Sciences showed no warming from 1900 to 1970.

In other words, global warming and the hockey stick is a complete joke, and the people who study it aren’t actual scientists. It is by far the biggest hoax in science history.
