With the melting of sea ice due to global warming effects, the Arctic Ocean route, the shortest shipping route linking Europe and Asia, has opened up in the past few years, a MOL spokesman said.

What a wonderful idea – except for the fact that the Arctic Ocean is completely blocked with ice.
Alarmists seem to have difficulty understanding that ice only melts at temperatures above its freezing point.
