Last summer, NOAA predicted a very active Atlantic hurricane season. It turned out to be the quietest in decades.
Then they forecast a warm winter, which turned out to be coldest in decades.

Their forecasting ability for the current year may be zero, but that doesn’t mean they can’t make expert forecasts for 100 years from now.
During one of the few hot spells last summer, President Obama hurriedly called an outdoor press conference in the sun in the middle of the afternoon, and then did a third rate acting job to try to convince people that they need to give up their money, energy security and freedom in order to stop global warming.

RSS satellite data shows very little global warming over land since 1995, while CRUTEM4 shows a lot of global warming over land during the same period. Without that warming, they have no hockey stick.

Alarmists are constantly accusing me of being a paid oil-industry shill who wants to see the planet destroyed. I would be more than happy to take oil money, but no one has offered any. My blogging has come out of my own pocket, and has been very expensive in terms of time and lost opportunity costs.
I have been an active environmentalist for almost my entire life. At age 16 I testified before a Congressional hearing in support of a proposed wilderness area in Utah. I worked to get the Clean Air Act passed, and worked for two summers as a wilderness ranger in New Mexico. I do all of my local transport and shopping by bicycle, and buy almost exclusively organic and free range food.
The reason I blog is because catastrophic global warming is junk science, used by unscrupulous people for unscrupulous political and financial purposes. It keeps environmentalists from doing anything useful, and provides progressives an excuse to push toward totalitarianism.
The global warming scam needs to be stopped. It has spiraled completely out of control, and no longer has any pretense of science behind the lies.
I do this because I want my children and grandchildren to enjoy the opportunities I have enjoyed, and because global warming alarmists threaten everyone with their psychotic, sociopathic behavior.

Since then, his forecasts have failed miserably – so the climate fraudsters simply ramp the BS up to higher levels.
The percentage of afternoons over 90 degrees in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa, Missouri, Michigan, Indiana and Ohio has dropped dramatically since 1895.
In January 2013, Andy Revkin reported on a Federal report predicting an increase 100 degree days in every region of the US, due to Mann-made CO2.

If that were true, we would expect to have seen an increase in 100 degree temperature readings as CO2 rose in the past. NOAA data shows the exact opposite. The number of 100 degree days has not increased significantly in any region of the country over the last century, and in most of the country the frequency of 100 degree days has declined dramatically.
As is normally the case with global warming, the Federal government ignored their own data into order to push regulations based on an unsupportable theory.
