Progressives know that dumb people believe the Earth is 5,000 years old, and there was a great flood due to man’s sin.

One of the things I have learned from Bill Gray, is that major hurricane activity increases during cooling periods, and decreases during warming periods.
During the strong cooling from 1945-1969, there were a lot of major hurricanes. In the 1970’s, temperature trends reversed – and major hurricane activity dropped off dramatically.
Before NASA/NOAA erased the post-1940 cooling, the National Academy of Sciences showed that it was as large as the 1900-1940 warming
In the late 1990’s, temperatures began to decline and major hurricane activity picked up sharply again.
Next topic will be what is causing the warming and cooling periods, but the key point for now is that alarmists have the relationship between major hurricanes and global warming exactly backwards.
In 1968, apes ruled the planet, and National Geographic was popular because of wonderful photography showing topless island women with perky breasts.
National Geographic has since dropped the stimulating photography, and is now a sci-fi magazine with intellectual apes as editors.

Science has become the new religion of power mongers. The reduction of science to religion deprives rational persons of objective science and imposes religion onto the public through government.
These concerns are relative and could have been argued a century ago. But they increased exponentially over recent decades. It is now impossible to produce objective science, while the values of power mongers are forced onto everyone through science as religion.
