These Greenpeace activists are protesting the Four Corners Power Plant in New Mexico, and fail to notice that it isn’t dirty.
At one time (45 years ago) it was dirty, and I was one of the people fighting to get them to clean the plant up. They installed electrostatic precipitators, and now the plant delivers huge amounts of electricity to several states – with minimal pollution.

At one time, there was unanimous consensus for global cooling after 1940.
Glaciers were growing during that time, after receding for the previous 200 years.
GISS showed some of this cooling in their 1997 temperature data. But it didn’t fit the narrative, so they later simply eliminated it.
A climate expert looks at the cyclical graph below, sees that snowy days declined from the mid-1980’s to the mid-2000’s, and concludes that we are all going to die.
By tampering with the data, NOAA and NASA destroy the ability of scientists to see what is actually going on with the climate.
When our friends at NOAA and NASA do their data tampering, they pick a pivot point around the year 1960. Temperatures after 1960 get tampered upwards, and temperatures before 1960 get tampered downwards. The graph below shows changes to the GISS global surface record since 1997.
By splitting their data tampering around a central pivot point, it doesn’t look “all that bad”
The next graph shows the identical data tampering, normalized to 1997. In this view you can more easily see the hockey stick of cheating which they have done just since 1997.
The pivot point is thus an essential part of this scam. It is a way of hiding the magnitude of their tampering.

Obama believes that he just needs to tell one more lie, in order to get people to start trusting him again.
AUSTRALIA appears to be bucking a global trend of distrust in governments since the election of the coalition last September.
But a new global survey suggests Prime Minister Tony Abbott and his team still have work to do.
The 2014 Edelman Trust Barometer showed trust in the Australian government as an institution jumped 14 points in the past year to 56 per cent, compared to a global average of 44 per cent.
“While trust levels in the United States and Europe have witnessed historic declines, Australia has bucked the trend and found confidence in the new government,” Edelman Australia CEO Michelle Hutton said on Friday.
In its 14th year, the barometer is a global study of 27,000 participants across 27 countries examining levels of trust across the institutions of government, business, non-government organisations and the media.

So what exactly were they selling in the ad at the top of the page?
NOAA lost 10% of their US temperature readings between 2012 and 2013. At the current rate of decline, the US will no longer have a climate by early next decade.
