I always hear climate skeptics complaining about SkS, but I think that SKS are great. Particularly the Russian made ones.

When I was a child living in Los Alamos, a house across the canyon exploded. The house was demolished and all of the houses within a quarter mile (including ours) were damaged. The neighboring houses were lifted of their foundations. One of my classmates had her life wrecked.

In 1992, me and my 8-1/2 months pregnant wife were nearly knocked out of bed in Houston by a gas pipeline explosion which occurred 50 miles away.

Now Obama wants to have all American cars run off 3,000 psi natural gas, and all gas stations have a huge 3,000 psi gas tank. A terrorist dream come true.

1. Obama tells government scientists that they have to agree with him, or lose their jobs.
2. Government scientists then agree with him.
3. Obama then says “100% of government scientists agree with me”
4. Kook and Nuttercelli then write a paper about the 97% consensus.

By declaring an official and unassailable scientific position on “climate change”-  it is now career threatening for any government scientist to produce evidence to the contrary. Undoubtedly the most disgusting anti-science event in US history.

Climate change is a completely vague, nebulous, undefinable concept, so Obama can use his decree as an excuse to purge anyone who doesn’t fall in line.

Hours before Obama’s call for Americans to be packed into CNG explosive cars, this explosion occurred on a high pressure gas pipeline in Canada at -32C. It burned for 12 hours with flames 300 feet tall. It was one of at least five explosions which have occurred on that pipeline since 1957.

CNG has to be kept at more than 200 atmospheres pressure. You can think of it as a large conventional explosive located six inches underneath your children.

One of the reasons why is natural gas. If extracted safely, it’s the bridge fuel that can power our economy with less of the carbon pollution that causes climate change. (Applause.) Businesses plan to invest almost a hundred billion dollars in new factories that use natural gas.

I’ll cut red tape to help states get those factories built and put folks to work, and this Congress can help by putting people to work building fueling stations that shift more cars and trucks from foreign oil to American natural gas.
