At the start of October, it became obvious that Obamacare was a disaster – with huge increases in premiums, cancelled policies and a broken web site.

Obama reacted by lying about costs, lying about cancellations, and lying about the web site. He lies to you for your own good.

In Washington, most of the 290,000 people covered by insurance plans they purchased on the individual market received letters this fall telling them that their plans are going away.

Bill Fullner has reached his breaking point.

It started with the letter from his health-insurance company informing him it was canceling his plan and offering him a new one that’s nearly twice as expensive. Then the 60-year-old retiree from Mount Vernon heard about more people like himself with canceled plans and soaring premiums. Finally, he spent hours on the phone and computer trying — and failing — to find a new option that he likes.

“This whole experience has converted a lifelong Democrat into a foot soldier for the Republican Party,” Fullner said.

He’s not alone in his frustration.

CHICAGO — A small alligator found under an escalator at Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport has left authorities puzzled.

A maintenance worker discovered the alligator, which is about a foot long, on Friday in Terminal 3, Chicago Police spokesman Jose Estrada said Sunday.

I was in Terminal 3 for several hours on Friday, but still have all my toes. They warned us that global warming would make Gulf Coast species migrate to the Great Lakes. Next it will be Marlins in Lake Michigan and Piranhas in Lake Ontario.

Katherine Hayhoe lives close to Oklahoma, but is unaware that half of that state fled the heat and drought of the 1930’s and moved to California  Perhaps they don’t read Steinbeck in Canadian schools?
