Hansen : 250 Feet Of Sea Level Rise

“If you leave us at 450ppm for long enough it will probably melt all the ice – that’s a sea rise of 75 metres. What we have found is that the target we have all been aiming for is a disaster – a guaranteed disaster,” Hansen told the Guardian.

Temperatures out here in the west have been frigid this winter, which is completely consistent with expert predictions of 10 degrees warming.

If carbon emissions increase, the average temperature at Park City will be 10.4 degrees warmer by 2100, and there likely will be no snowpack, according to the study. Skiing at Aspen, with an average temperature 8.6 degrees higher than now, will be marginal.

Julia Tax Success

In 2008, Australia’s top climate scientist declared that Australia was in a permanent drought.

January 4, 2008

This drought may never break

IT MAY be time to stop describing south-eastern Australia as gripped by drought and instead accept the extreme dry as permanent, one of the nation’s most senior weather experts warned yesterday.

“Perhaps we should call it our new climate,” said the Bureau of Meteorology’s head of climate analysis, David Jones.

Climate Is Changing So Rapidly That Scientists Can’t Keep Up

Last year’s lack of snow in the eastern US (the center of the universe) was caused by 392 ppm CO2, but the increase to 393 ppm this year is causing heavy snow.

…ANOTHER MAJOR WINTER STORM IS FORECAST TO IMPACT THE CENTRAL/SOUTHERN PLAINS INTO THE LOWER MISSOURI VALLEY…  …THREATS FOR SEVERE WEATHER AND FLASH FLOODING ARE POSSIBLE ALONG SECTIONS OF GULF COAST…  …A COASTAL SYSTEM SHOULD BRING ACCUMULATING SNOWS TO THE NEW ENGLAND COAST THROUGHOUT MUCH OF SUNDAY…   A PATTERN NEARLY REMINISCENT OF EARLIER IN THE WEEK WHICH FEATURED HEAVY SNOWS ACROSS THE CENTRAL PLAINS AND INTO THE MIDDLE MISSISSIPPI VALLEY WILL IMPACT A SIMILAR AREA DURING THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS.
