The Four Lost Years
Is Obama even aware that he has been the guy in charge the last four years?
[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fZgQhnNRSuw&feature=player_embedded#!]
He seems to be hoping that Americans are vastly more stupid than they were four years ago.

Four Years Ago In Denver
I spent a couple hours Sunday evening at a friend’s house (the 82 year old woman pictured above next to my Jeep.) She is a life-long Republican and woman of great sense.
Four years ago a close friend of hers (a lifelong Democrat) was working back stage at the Democratic party Convention in Denver, and over heard Michelle blurt out f***ing white people. Needless to say, she did not vote for Obama.

The Ladies May Be Slow Starters, But They Have Taken The Lead
Barack Obama approaches his nomination for a second term with the lowest pre-convention personal popularity of an incumbent president in ABC News/Washington Post polls since the 1980s.
The decline has occurred entirely among women registered voters – from 57-39 percent favorable-unfavorable in April to a numerically negative 46-50 percent now. That’s Obama’s lowest score among women voters – a focus of recent political positioning – in ABC/Post polls since he took office. Unusually, his rating among men, 50-47 percent favorable-unfavorable, is numerically better than it is among women, albeit not by a significant margin.

Which Gas Caused The Anasazi To Disappear?
According to the Democratic Party platform, CO2 is the cause of climate change. I wonder what caused the seventy-five long year 13th century drought which wiped out the Anasazi?
Do we really want to let the party of superstition and division stink up the White House for four more years?

Where Was David Appell Then?
When The Arctic Institute posted the garbage below in all seriousness, David Appell forgot to accuse them of distortion.
If this trend persists over the coming years we could experience an ice free Arctic Ocean by the summer of 2015.
The Arctic Institute – Center for Circumpolar Security Studies
When I post the same graph to point out its nonsensical nature, David Appell accuses me of distortion.

The Dirty Little Secrets Of The Summer
Besides the early winter storm which broke up the ice in August, another unusual wind event contributed strongly to this summer’s “record low” ice extent.
In early June, strong winds blew open a large hole in the Beaufort Sea. This happened when the sun was high in the sky, and led to a lot of unusual sea surface warming – which later melted a lot of ice.

If Monkeys Fly Out Of His …… How Will He Respond?
The Met Office predicted that half the years between 2011 and 2015 would be warmer than 2010. Besides their mathematics problem of picking half of an odd number (five years) that forecast is on the verge of failing – after two years much cooler than 2010.
Their El Nino is rapidly falling apart too. Wouldn’t it be great if climatologists learned a little bit of math and science?
