Christian Science Monitor Gets The Full Stupid Award For The Day

While the FBI says it’s investigating the shooting in the lobby of a national conservative organization in Washington Wednesday as a potential hate crime, experts say the shooting suspect does not fit the typical profile of someone involved in such violence.

Floyd Lee Corkins, who allegedly shot a security officer after saying, “I don’t like your politics,” was characterized, in an affidavit released Thursday by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, as a strong supporter of gay rights. The shooting took place at the Family Research Council, a conservative think tank known for its opposition to gay marriage and abortion rights.

Mr. Corkins, a volunteer at a community center for gays, held “strong opinions with respect to those he believes do not treat homosexuals in a fair manner,” the FBI affidavit quoted his parents as saying.

You can’t make this stuff up. What is the typical profile of a shooter? Is it the Obama voter who massacred a movie theatre in Aurora? Is it the Muslim who massacred an army base in Texas? Is it the Discovery Channel eco-whacko shooter? Is it the eco-whacko Unabomber?

And then they move seamlessly from the gay terrorist story, to a discussion of gay rights.

Articles like this remind me why the press has become the worst enemy of freedom.

Romm Lying About Paul Ryan Now

From Romm’s climatedigress site

However, in an interview with a local Ohio television news station, Ryan claimed he never secured funding through the program, saying“I never asked for stimulus.”

Ryan’s statement directly counters the evidence of four letters obtained by the AP which the congressman wrote to Energy Secretary Steven Chu, praising energy programs supported by the stimulus and requesting funds for initiatives in his district.

Romm is complete scum. What Ryan said was

I never asked for stimulus I don’t recall, I haven’t seen this report so I can’t comment on it.

The 25th Anniversary Of The Harmonic Convergence

Twenty five years ago I was living in Sedona, Arizona. On August 16, about 20,000 of the leading whack jobs from all over the planet showed up for a planetary alignment called the “Harmonic Convergence” They were expecting to see a space ship blast off out of a rock, but left empty handed. However, this was just a precursor to the world ending  on December 21, 2012.

Wow 25 years, a quarter of a century since the first Harmonic Convergence happened. Created by Jose Arguelles it was the first world wide Globally synchronized mediation occurring on August 16 and 17 in 1987. The H.C. was correlated to significant astrological transits.

It was correlated to the Mayan calendar. According to Argüelles’ interpretation of Mayan cosmology, the date marked the end of twenty-two cycles of 52 years each, or 1,144 years in all. The twenty-two cycles were divided into thirteen heaven cycles, which began in AD 843 and ended in 1519, when the nine “hell cycles began, which ended 468 years later in 1987. The very beginning of the nine hell cycles was precisely the day that Cortez landed in Mexico, April 22, 1519  correlating to the date “1 Reed” on the Aztec/Mayan Calendar – the day sacred to mesoamerican culture hero Quetzalcoatl). Montezuma knew that Cortez was coming from a trance. The 9 hell cycles of 52 years each ended precisely on August 16-17, 1987.

There was also a grand Trine alignment of  Sun Moon Mars and Venus conjunct in late degrees of Leo and Six out o f the 8 planets were forming a Grand Fire Trine. That’s one powerful light worker’s  hot tamale!

Harmonic Convergence also began the final 25-year countdown to the end of the Mayan Long Count in 2012, which would be the so-called end of history and the beginning of a new 5,125-year cycle.  Arguelles believed that all the modern worlds evils, e.g. war, materialism, violence, abuses, injustice, oppression, etc. would end with the birth of the 6th Sun and the 5th Earth on December 21, 2012.

August 16, 1987 was also the date of Northwest Airlines flight 255, which crashed in Michigan and killed everyone on board – except for a four year old girl. More than 100 people from Arizona died in that plane, which was the worst aviation disaster in US history at the time.
