When Government Fraud Starts Costing Trillions Of Dollars

Governor Moonbeam is using taxpayer money to display this NOAA graph on his anti-denier website.

NOAA.

Looks scary – the only problem is that it is complete garbage. The measured data (which the graph above is supposed to be based on) is shown in the graph below through 2011. (The 2012 data has not been released.)

The next graph shows the adjustments tampering which NOAA has done to the data. They have adjusted inflated recent years upwards by almost 2.5 degrees relative to the 1930s, and have made the Dust Bowl completely disappear.

We have passed a tipping point where unabashed NOAA fraud is affecting millions of lives.

State Of California Says That The Climate Is Controlled By The Tobacco Industry

A famous tobacco industry document from the late 1960s said, “Doubt is our product, since it is the best means of competing with the ‘body of fact’ that exists in the minds of the general public.”4 It is a strategy that has worked, at least for awhile, in the past, and it is being repeated today. Because of the serious impacts of climate change, the delay and obfuscation tactics of the deniers are particularly concerning, which is why we present some responses to the denier arguments on this website.

Why The Gain In Antarctic Sea Ice Is Important

There is more sea ice around Antarctica than in the Arctic, and it is all at lower latitudes than in the Arctic – so it reflects a lot more sunlight back into space. The whole point of alarmists being hysterical about September Arctic ice loss is the albedo feedback (as if there was actually any sunshine at the North Pole in September) – but the negative feedback around Antarctica is probably larger than any Arctic effects. Missing Arctic ice in the autumn also allows more LW radiative loss into space.

Additionally, NSIDC reports ice loss or gain as a percentage rather than absolute numbers – which conveniently hides the incline in Antarctica.

When Seconds Mean Life Or Death, Police Are Just One Hour And Two Minutes Away

Norway police ‘could have stopped Breivik sooner’

In the aftermath of the attacks, police were criticised for their failure to use a helicopter once alerted to the shootings, and for the bungled attempt to reach the island on an inflatable boat.

As early as 17:25 local time, shootings were reported on Utoeya
Within five minutes, police were contacted by a boat captain offering his vessel but the message was not acted on

The first local police patrol arrived at 17:55, but the two officers did not try to find a boat despite guidelines recommending an immediate reponse to gun attacks

An 11-strong elite Delta force team from Oslo arrived 14 minutes later

They were forced to abandon their own overloaded dinghy for two civilian boats and landed on Utoeya at 18:27
