Why A Super El Nino Is Very Unlikely

There is a lot of cold water circulating from Alaska down the west coast of Canada,  the US and Mexico. The cold water is mixing with equatorial waters and keeping the temperature down.

Hansen and Appell are hoping for a very big El Nino (to bring 2012 temperatures closer to Hansen’s zero emissions scenario C) but pre-school level science explains to us why that isn’t likely to happen.

Applying Michael Mann’s Junk Science To Sea Level

Michael Mann introduced a new concept of fraud to science, when he threw out the tree ring data after 1960.

Briffa’s trees (green above) accurately showed the same post 1940 cooling as the 1975 report of the National Academy Of Sciences.

Mann didn’t like that data, because his job was to eliminate the MWP. So he simply threw out the proxy data after 1960, and replaced it with Hansen’s doctored thermometer data.

Once Hansen and Mann had cleared the way for the biggest scientific fraud in history, it became possible to do the same with sea level.

June 1934 : Every Region Of The US Was Above 100 Degrees

By contrast, nearly half of the US has been below normal temperatures so far in June 2012.

Dem Senator Says No One Disputes The Random Thoughts Running Through His Brain

Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse (D-R.I.) declared on the Senate floor Thursday that the debate over whether humans are causing climate change is over, and that it has been shown conclusively that human activity is leading to global warming.

“People say there are questions about the theory,” he said. “No, there are not.

“The argument that the jury is still out on climate change is a false and bogus argument,” he added. “The jury is not out. In fact, the jury is in, the effects are obvious, they surround us every day, and we need to take action.”

Whitehouse said the theory that warmth creates a moist atmosphere that traps heat has been around since the Civil War. “That’s been basic textbook science for a century,” he said. “It’s never been controverted. It’s a law, essentially, of science.”

The definition of controverted is

Apparently he believes that no one has ever argued about global warming.

Untill Hansen corrupted the data for the umpteenth time in 2005, 1934 was the hottest year on record in the US. It was also the driest year on record in the US – with 80% of the country experiencing drought simultaneously. Hot temperatures are associated with a dry atmosphere, not a wet atmosphere – like in Texas last month.

Like Obama, Whitehouse assumes that Democratic Party voters are complete morons.

Obama Announces That He Is The Biggest Liar In The Last 60 Years

Waving a planted press commentary, Obama recently claimed on the campaign stump, “federal spending since I took office has risen at the slowest pace of any President in almost 60 years.”

President Obama: The Biggest Government Spender In World History – Forbes

Obama has increased the national debt by about as much as all previous presidents combined. Next term he says he will fix the climate.

Global Warming Scam Will Be Over By Christmas

I wish ……………

GISS May is out. The 2012 average temperature anomaly (so far) is second coldest year of the millenium at 0.48C. Temperatures continue to plummet below Hansen’s zero emissions Scenario C.

Scenario A is the one we should be comparing against, because it was the only scenario which assumed increasing emissions of greenhouse gases.

If Hansen were correct, the 2012 anomaly would be almost three times higher than it is – and going up instead of going down. Hansen’s theory is a massive fail..

CO2 : Drool CO2 : Drool

Pavlov’s Hogs

Dem senator: Humans causing climate change, saying otherwise is ‘bogus’ – The Hill’s E2-Wire

Millions of gigatons? About 160 gigatons of CO2 gets emitted into the atmosphere every year – of which humans are responsible for about 3%.

Had Hansen never injected his lunacy into Capitol Hill in 1988, few people would even think about CO2 or the climate. Raymond thinks the whole world revolves around CO2, because he has been conditioned – like one of Pavlov’s dogs.

See The Devastation For Yourself

[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tYbf-MpGS9c]

The super-duper 50,000 acre mega-fire of 2012, which our greenie friends are hysterical about. Over 100 houses were lost, because some people like to build wood houses in the middle of a forest which naturally burns about once every twenty years.

The panorama above is Lory State Park at noon today, which was reported burning this week. The only fire scars visible in the park are ones which are decades old. The forests on distant ridges on the right side were burned a few days ago. Almost no smoke is visible.

Out of the 50,000 acres which are reported to have burned, much of that was grassland which will have recovered by the end of the summer.

Linking Hurricanes With Global Warming And CO2

Hurricane Andrew hit Florida in August 1992, and was the last category five hurricane to hit the US. CO2 was just barely over 350 ppm at the time.

It has been almost seven years since a major hurricane hit the US, the longest such period in US history. It has also been seven years since Florida was hit by a hurricane, the longest such period in Florida history.

By contrast, during the year 1886 the US was hit by seven hurricanes, including two major hurricanes. Hansen says that 1886 was one of the coldest years on record.

Kaiser Permanente : Global Warming To Destroy Humanity

As [Kaiser’s Environmental Stewardship Officer Kathy] Gerwig put it, “there’s credible evidence of significant climate change that will impact our ability to provide quality health care.”

She laid out four broad categories of the health effects:

Severe weather: Hurricanes, wildfires, floods, and heat waves all injure and kill people. Hospitals — and all businesses for that matter — need to prepare for these extremes.

The US is experiencing the quietest hurricane period on record.

Respiratory diseases: Air quality in general deeply affects health. This is, as Gerwig says, mainly about the short-term consequences of not dealing with burning fossil fuels and the changing climate.

Air quality in the US is vastly improved from 40 years ago.

Infectious diseases: As the planet warms, bugs like mosquitos can survive and thrive further north, spreading diseases to new areas. According to the UN, previously untouched areas like the southern U.S. and Mexico will face malaria, yellow fever, and dengue by 2050.

Kaiser Permanente: We’ll be ready for the inevitable climate-change-based downfall of society | Grist

Malaria used to be a common disease in the US. In fact, it used to be a serious problem even in the Arctic.

When I think of Finland, malaria just doesn’t normally come to mind. Although northern climes often have swarms of mosquitoes, its hard to imagine mosquito-borne infections gaining much traction in the short summer season. Yet defying imagination, malaria has thrived in northern Finland, Sweden and Russia near the arctic circle in the past. In the late 19th and early 20th century, Plasmodium falciparum and Plasmodium vivax caused outbreaks in northern Europe. Despite the outbreak of P. falciparium at Archangelsk in the 1930s, P. vivax is believed to be the primary malarial species in northern Europe.

Interesting that the environmental officer for a health care company is incompetent about both environment and health. She is the perfect Obamacare officer.
