Protecting People With Explosives

They said that when the Navy Seals reached the top floor, two women were in front of bin Laden, trying to protect him. One Seal shoved them away, fearing they might be wearing suicide bomb vests.

Right. They kept suicide belts readily available around the house – just in case they needed to protect Osama and the kids by blowing everybody up.

The White House originally told us that Osama pushed his wife into the line of fire as he blasted his rifle, while Obama watched it live. The White House was unaware that they weren’t actually watching the firefight which didn’t actually happen.

And no doubt special ops forces are trained to run towards people with suicide belts. What could possibly go wrong with that?

Another source involved in the operation said bin Laden appeared “scared and completely confused” in the moments before he was shot.

They couldn’t see if he was armed because it was too dark – but they could see that he was in his underwear on his bed, looking scared and confused – when they shot him in the head.

The Land Of The Noontime Darkness

Normally Iceland is light almost 24×7 this time of year. The ash cloud from the volcanic eruption has turned the skies almost pitch black.

“A Warm Atmosphere Can Hold More Moisture”

That may be true, but it has nothing to do with the flooding or tornadoes. Temperatures have been running far below normal.

The fact that some people think that last year was hot, has no impact on the current weather.

Making Up Sea Level Numbers Is Now Ubiquitous

The dam has broken. Government scientists now simply make up random sea level numbers and report them directly to the press.

Australian sea levels to rise by three feet unless climate change is halted

Sea levels will rise by more than three feet by the end of the century making severe coastal flooding a common factor of life in Australia if urgent action is not taken to limit climate change, a key report by a panel of climate scientists has found.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/

There is zero evidence to support this claim. Sea level rise has slowed over the last five years, and even the highest reported rates are less than one tenth of that. Over the last 18 months, sea level has fallen 5-20 mm by all measures.

In business, people get prosecuted for making baseless high predictions.

Deadly Tornadoes In The Midwest

NCAR WRF water vapour forecast for midnight last night.

Once again, the pattern of cold dry air in the west colliding with warm humid air in the east has proven deadly. And it isn’t going to get better any time soon. The forecast for tomorrow afternoon looks just as bad.
