Romm’s Crew Implies That CO2 gods Are Punishing Denier States

Can there be any doubt that the biggest tornado outbreak since CO2 was 335 ppm – was caused by increasing CO2?

“In China and other countries, they just burn whatever the hell is available,”

“Our leaders are stupid, they are stupid people,”

Trump says there’s no benefit trying to be a good neighbor environmentally if halfway around the world the most-favored nation is mucking up the air.

“In China and other countries, they just burn whatever the hell is available,” Trump complained. “Over here, we want clean technology. What the hell good is green here if this guy over here is spewing all sorts of crap into the air?”

Blogger Gets His Question Answered

Q : What would it take for the man-made climate change skeptics to agree that we are impacting our climate?

I always see you folks write that the data is not there yet to support the contention that we are impacting our climate by releasing massive amounts of greenhouse gases. There really is loads of data to support that and the vast majority of climate scientists have conmcluded so.

What would it take for the skeptics/ deniers to finally accept this data?

A : Some real science. Pretty simple, huh?

Maybe you should get a job in the private sector and take your mind off of this.

“Irresponsible” To Blame Tornadoes On Global Warming

Schneider says the evidence is not there to “draw a distinct link between climate change and tornadoes.”

Karins agrees. “As a rule no single weather event can be linked to or apart from climate change,” he notes. “With that said a recent study did attribute a slight uptick in significant weather events, with climate change the likely culprit. But it’s so slight that the average person would never know it.”

Grady Dixon, a Mississippi State University geosciences assistant professor, believes climate change likely has no effect. “I will even go so far to argue that it is irresponsible to suggest such a thing because tornado outbreaks, even multiday events, are not new and they do not happen regularly enough to imply a trend or pattern,” he says.

“As for tornado numbers, those are increasing regularly over the past 30-plus years, but tornado researchers agree that is because of increased population, improved technology and awareness, and better education and reporting.

USA Today Carefully Excludes Any Evidence Against Their Religious Beliefs

Climate change could spawn more tornadoes

As with any major weather disaster these days — from floods and hurricanes to wildfires and this week’s tornado outbreak in the South — people ask questions about its relation to the huge elephant that’s lurking in the corner, global climate change.

Two separate studies in 2007 reported that global warming could bring a dramatic increase in the frequency of weather conditions that feed severe thunderstorms and tornadoes by the end of the 21st century.

Never mind that severe tornadoes have decreased and that NOAA says that tornadoes have nothing to do with climate change. We live in an age of superstition.

Drewski Part Deux

Drewski says :

Steve Goddard: “The Arctic Ocean is smaller than the US.”

Actually the Arctic Ocean occupies a roughly circular basin and covers an area of about 14,056,000 km2 (5,427,000 sq mi), almost the size of Russia — the United States (including Alaska and interior lakes) is 3,794,083 square miles — roughly 50% smaller.

Steve, how many simple geographical mistakes does that make for you now?

Google Earth animation at eye altitude 6795.59 miles. The lower 48 states are slightly larger than the Arctic Ocean, and Alaska makes it much larger.
