(Laurie David is the clever children’s author who flipped the Vostok graph to make CO2 lead temperature. Sometimes you just have to lie to those little troublemakers to get their thoughts right.)

Good time to go to Cancun and fix that pesky global warming problem.

CO2 molecules make lovely Christmas ornaments.
Economists and political strategists attending an economic summit Thursday said it is critical for New Hampshire, New England and the country to understand that climate change has to be part of the equation in forging a solution to the current fiscal and monetary crisis.

There are 3.7 *10^44 CO2 molecules in the atmosphere, and the national debt is $13.8*10^12. That puts the price of CO2 at about 4*10^-32 dollars per molecule. In other words, you can pick up a boatload of dirt cheap CO2 molecules as Christmas presents this year, and help solve the national debt!
Proxy studies show that a warmer climate is caused by wider tree rings. The correlation was perfect until 60 years ago, when tree rings were replaced by USHCNÂ adjustments as the primary driver of climate.
Tree rings also show that the climate has been (until recently) completely stable – which is why all rings are identical.
Antarctica should be melting down because of all the CO2 we are dumping into the air.
Instead it is getting colder there and sea ice is increasing. This is also our fault because we are destroying the ozone hole, making it colder there.
The point is that it is our fault that Antarctica is not melting down, and if we weren’t screwing up so badly – Antarctica would be melting down – also due to us.
Either way, the Penguins are really pissed off at us.
