Most preschoolers understand that you need sunshine to warm things up. When the sun sets, it gets cold. If the sun set for 4-6 months, it would get really cold. But not John Holdren.

Forecast For The Year 2100 : 17 Polar Storms

The accuracy of climate models is simply astonishing!

Assuming that greenhouse gas emissions rise rapidly in the future, the frequency of Arctic hurricanes could fall from an average of 36 per winter to about 17 by 2100, the model suggests. If emissions rise more slowly the number of hurricanes could fall to 23 per winter.

Susan Solomon Describes The Overwhelming Power Of CO2

Arctic sea ice retreat, increases in heavy rainfall and flooding, permafrost melt, loss of glaciers and snowpack with attendant changes in water supply, increased intensity of hurricanes, etc.

OMG

climate change that takes place due to increases in carbon dioxide concentration is largely irreversible for 1,000 years after emissions stop.

If current trends continue, the Republican party will be fully emancipated by the year 2020. Democrats seem to be stuck in a bit of a rut.

The EPA photo above correctly identifies man made emissions of Earth’s most important greenhouse gas. The only problem is that they don’t know which gas it is.

No Refuge On Gliese 581

A couple of weeks ago, CO2  worriers were ready to pack it in and escape to a “habitable planet” only twenty light years away.

These seemed like a brilliant way to raise the IQ of Earth, but sadly it turns out their Mecca probably doesn’t exist.
