The researchers cautioned that although they had analyzed more than a decade of data, it was still a relatively short time frame. Natural ups and downs that appear in climate data make detecting long-term trends challenging. Further study is needed, they said.

From the Russian press today.
The ozone layer will recover by 2035. If the correct calculations of scientists, by this time the ozone concentration rises to the level of 1980. The article, in which a group of scientists from different countries, from Britain to Japan, analyzes the recovery of the ozone layer, is aimed for publication in the journal Atmospheric Chemistry and Physics. Researchers, using data on atmospheric dynamics, the mathematical model is designed to answer the question of how to change over time the concentration of ozone.
The worst tornado outbreak in US history occurred in 1974 – the year Nixon resigned. There were at least 163 tornadoes in 13 states. More than 300 people died. Was this due to “global warming?”
According to the experts, the modern period of global warming began in the 1970s. NOAA records severe tornado counts each year, so it is simple enough to correlate severe tornadoes vs. atmospheric CO2 during that period. The plot below shows that relationship.

“What is clear, though, is that the warmest 12-month period in the GISS analysis was reached in mid-2010,” El Hañsen said.
Besides the fact that this isn’t the hottest year according to satellites or Had-Crut, he also carefully cherry-picked a strong El Niño for his 12-month period (red rectangle.)
That is two strikes so far, and here is strike three. In 2008, temperatures did the opposite during a La Niña. They got very cold (blue rectangle.)
People who do not like cold weather, and might have welcomed the idea that Minnesota may become more like Missouri or Massachusetts like Virginia, must give up that notion, unless they wish ill for a large fraction of the planet’s inhabitants, both human and other creatures.

In short, if Minnesotans don’t spend their day thinking what Hansen thinks about – they are committing genocide in some far away land.
So don’t think evil climate thoughts. Someone might press that red button!
Andy Revkin did a survey of global warming alarmists, and found that many are right on board with the hilarious 10:10 school massacre theme. The folks at 10:10 are not an isolated group – rather they are mainstream members of the cult.
