Puffington Host : World’s Most Serious Problem Isn’t A “Real Problem”

We cannot expect that the public will support change without understanding the reasons for it. But we cannot browbeat our way to a broader understanding of the science behind climate change and the benefits of taking action. We need to start with the real problems people face in America today – from jobs and energy security to clean air and water — and work with them to find answers to those problems and the common challenge that faces all of us.

If it were a “real problem” all those ignorant people probably would have noticed?

  1. Mike Davis says:

    Typographical error!
It was typed before consuming sufficient stimulants.
They were suffering from a momentary escape into reality so that claim should be overlooked!
what they typed was rewritten by a undercover realist to make HuffnPuff look bad.
What it says is not what it says so your header is .

  2. Paul H says:

Tucked away in the penultimate paragraph is a brief mention of jobs, energy dependency + competitiveness.

    Rather shows their priorities.

  3. suyts says:

“We need to start with the real problems people face in America today – from jobs and energy security to clean air and water …”

Wow, only 30+ years of screaming at them and someone woke up? Now if they’d just put their money where that mouth went……. for some reason though, I think Mike Davis is right, they really didn’t mean that. I’m sure we’ll see a clarification soon. They only been spewing bs about imaginary problems since the damn paper was started.

  4. Airframe Eng says:

The GOP needs to invest some money to investigate and build a case around the damage the Eco psycho lobby has done to our industrial base. (including a full audit of NOAA and GISS) The Enviro cult uses a lot of feel good imagery to seduce converts.

America needs an education on simple realities. We reside on a ball of rock. Any and every resource we have except sunshine must come from this planet. Sure, we must be wise about consumption and replenishment, but we cannot prosper without resources, and we can reignite prosperity by simply utilizing those resources.

Maybe we should turn to Thorium now, and hold coal in reserve for its varied uses. I don’t know. We need to determine a 200 year plan. Armed with this information, and the presidency to project it, then we must show Americans who their true enemy is, and simultaneously offer bold solutions for development. The 12 headed Enviro-monster must die.
