Growth in China’s CO2 Emissions Double Previous Estimates
SAN DIEGO, California, March 11, 2008 (ENS) – The growth in China’s emissions of the primary greenhouse gas carbon dioxide, CO2, is far greater than previous estimates, making the goal of stabilizing atmospheric greenhouse gases much more difficult, finds a new analysis by economists at the University of California. The authors of the study, Maximillian Auffhammer, UC Berkeley assistant professor of agricultural and resource economics, and Richard Carson, UC San Diego professor of economics, based their findings upon pollution data from China’s 30 provincial entities.
Pure Bull! The second one is an underestimate of the “Greening” of China! That big brown cloud hanging over Asia and growing is really Green! If you do not see that you are listening to the wrong people!
Oh wow. Even from the other side of the world I have heard plenty about what ordinary Poms think of the Met Office. Yes, it is a household name.
It seems quite interesting that Global Market For “low carbon” As Big As The US Economy. Great business.
